The Clarksville Branch of the NAACP hosted its annual Freedom Fund Banquet recently. Treva Gordon hosted the event at which approximately 140 people were in attendance. Guests enjoyed an evening of dinner, dancing, and live music.
“This is the 65th year for Clarksville Montgomery County NAACP Chapter 5582,” President Jimmie Garland said. “Bishop Anthony Alfred is our distinguished guest speaker tonight, and it is going to be a celebration of what this organization does in this community.”
