Montgomery County Veterans Coalition recently hosted a get together at Randy Heath’s The Flip’N Axe.

“Events like this help us capitalize on how our organizations can work together,” Heath said. “We have similar background and values. We refer customers to each other, and share ideas.” The Star Spangled Brewing Co.’s Josh Romaker said, “we get together and try to find different ways to support each other.”

MCVC’s Sherry Pickering added, “We’re so excited to be able to spotlight veteran-owned businesses in the community. These guys along with the folks from Caprigio’s Pizza, who are here tonight, are already collaborating with each other. MCVC fosters collaboration within our community. It’s wonderful to see these veteran-owned businesses doing it so well.”
