YP Idyll Hounds Happy Hour Social

Young Professionals of Walton County (YPWC) invited the community out to celebrate the warm weather and start of summer season with a Happy Hour Social at Idyll Hounds Brewing Company on Thursday, June 10. This free event was open to YPWC members and nonmembers, featuring first drinks for free, a lively atmosphere in the Idyll Hounds taproom and beer garden, and live music performed by alternative rock/blues group Purple Monkey. The evening was generously sponsored by Centennial Bank, with a portion of the sponsorship benefiting Caring & Sharing of South Walton. This local nonprofit provides families living in Walton County with access to food, financial support, and other resources. Over the last 27 years, Caring & Sharing has assisted thousands of local families.

Monthly events held by YPWC are designed to foster community relationships, business growth, and good times among Walton County’s professional leaders and those who are new to the area. Events range from breakfast networking sessions, educational luncheons, happy hour socials, and more. The group also leads volunteer opportunities with several area nonprofit organizations.
