Paddle For Peace
Paddle for Peace was held on Saturday, May 1st in Grayton Beach. The event was made possible by Gulf Therapy and Adventure 30a in hopes to raise awareness for mental health. Funds raised from Paddle for Peace are used to provide more paddle boards to get people out on the water, but also support those that may need additional layers of therapy by collaborating with local mental health & wellness specialists. Gulf Therapy’s goal is to provide a platform to help people both on and off the water. The event was kicked off at 9 AM with the Intentional Paddle with Rose Petal Release. Afterwards, there were plenty of paddle boards for everyone to test out while paddling to live music from the dock featuring local artists; Tony and Hunter of Heritage, Dion Jones and more. The evening carried on to live music at Tribe Kelley Surf Post with Emily Bass, featured on the Voice.
