ZACHARY AND DANIELLE WARD

NOVEMBER 13, 2021

“Zachary and I met in 8th grade math class. We were assigned seats beside one another which led to passing a lot of notes and getting in trouble for talking most days. Even back then we realized something was starting to add up other than just the math we were learning. Our first date was so long ago that it’s hard to remember but I do know that we were too young to drive. Our parents dropped us off at the movies. After nearly 13 years of dating, he asked me to be his wife. Zachary grew up in a tight knit neighborhood with a lot of kids his age. Once they got older, they had a ‘neighborhood reunion’ where everybody came back home, bringing their spouses and significant others to meet and greet. In the middle of the cookout, Zachary got everyone’s attention because he wanted to make a speech, it was very unexpected. He started out by talking about growing up in the neighborhood and all the friendships he made, and then he started talking about how I was one of his best memories. At that moment he got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him."
