HOW WOULD YOU BEST DESCRIBE YOUR INDUSTRY?
In the past few years, employee benefits have changed drastically to accommodate a more digital world. Our goal is not only to create and drive a long-term strategy that allows businesses to offer competitive benefits and control costs, but to join their vision and be an extension of their team.
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE FOR YOUR CLIENTS?
As one of the largest brokers in the United States, HUB International’s resources and consulting options include voluntary benefits; data analytics; health; performance; program design; implementation; and much more. My team of benefit specialists, known as the ‘A-Team,’ can help with traditional benefits such as medical insurance, to modern benefits like pet insurance. WHAT IS IT YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR INDUSTRY?
I get to meet and interact with business owners to learn about their businesses and challenges when it comes to employee benefits and how I can help them. It is wonderful meeting with companies in the community and learning more about their business.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT HELPING YOUR CLIENTS?
I love lessening the burden for business owners and HR staff, but also helping employees get the right kind of coverage and understand their benefits.
WHAT ORGANIZATIONS OR CHARITIES ARE YOU MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT AND WHY?
After a personal health scare, I realized how important heart health is. I actively support the American Heart Association Northshore Heart Walk where I have served as co-chair for the past two years. I recently became involved with Women United, a leadership group of the United Way of Southeast Louisiana. As a woman in a male dominated industry, I am always looking to join leadership groups that support women.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE A YOUNGER VERSION OF YOURSELF JUST STARTING OUT IN YOUR INDUSTRY?
It is crazy to think when I began my career in employee benefits that I was a team of one. I would tell the younger me that the hard work will pay off and I would soon have a team of over 15 who are rock stars at their jobs.

HOW WOULD I BEST DESCRIBE MY INDUSTRY?
Unfortunately, finance is not a required subject taught in middle schools and high schools. Having an understanding of money and how it works, is one of the most important things you can teach a child and some adults. Our job as financial advisors are to help our clientele with the planning aspect of their finances, their asset management, as well as their defensive planning for them and their families. Our role is to provide our clients with all the resources they need so they can have a successful outcome.

My mission is to help you identify your current financial picture with your future financial goals. Along with a network of specialists, I provide innovative solutions using world-class insurance services and internationally recognized investment products. Through this, I develop enduring relationships with my clients and love to have them think of me as a lifetime financial consultant who is on call to assist them in any way that we can to help them reach their financial goals.
My business is focused on providing a superior level of highly professional advice to our clients as well as providing excellent, personalized service. We meet frequently with our clients to reassess their financial goals and objectives and to review their financial programs.
I specialize in helping business owners and HR departments with their retirement plans- educating them and aiding in helping them with creative solutions that enable informed decisions to be made. I think of myself as more of a consultant with a 3rd party perspective that I believe you will find both honest and trustworthy. While retirement plans and investment products are my concentration, I also believe in looking at your big financial picture and taking a holistic approach to help you protect your future and fulfill your financial goals. I have a highly skilled and well credentialed network of specialists and support staff that excel in life & disability income insurance, annuities, long-term care insurance, group employee benefits and estate planning. WHAT IS IT YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR INDUSTRY?
I’ve always advised our clients that it’s their money, not ours. Our job is to provide them with prudent investment advice based on their goals, time horizons, and risk tolerance. Being able to see someone we’ve worked with for 8-10 years get to the point where their financial plan is in place, and they can look retirement in the eye, is very rewarding. WHAT IS SOMETHING, SUCH AS A MOTTO OR BIT OF PHILOSOPHY, THAT DRIVES YOU EVERY DAY?
Gratitude…I’m not who I am without a great team behind me and a great clientele. Simply put, my team and clients are the reason we exist.

The banking industry has traditionally provided personal and business clients access to loans and deposits for managing their cash flow. Private banking in particular is a segment of banking geared towards providing high net worth individuals with concierge services within the bank, including access to comprehensive wealth management solutions. WHAT SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE FOR YOUR CLIENTS?
As a private banker, I have the unique role of orchestrating all the resources of Hancock Whitney Bank in a personal setting to place high net worth clients and their families in a position to achieve financial success. These resources consist of traditional banking products (deposits, loans/ lines of credit and mortgages) as well as other services to include Trust and Asset Management and customized planning for estate & wealth transfer, business exit and personal financial planning. WHAT IS IT YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR INDUSTRY?
Even though my title is Private Banker, I consider myself a “lifestyle planner”… it’s through this lens that I view every client relationship. Clients work very hard to create their wealth and trusting me to lead their Hancock Whitney Bank team of professionals is personal and a privilege. WHAT IS SOMETHING, SUCH AS A MOTTO OR BIT OF PHILOSOPHY, THAT DRIVES YOU EVERY DAY?
If we are to grow personally, professionally and spiritually, we are often forced out of our comfort zone which can lead to anxiety and thoughts of failing versus succeeding. The words “Take Courage” are the words which ground and focus me to lead with my heart every day and to trust my journey.
