Product Description

The tables feature a solid steel frame and carries a tabletop of either heat pressed ceramics or herringbone dark oak veneer. The rounded edges and hovering tabletop provide a soft and light expression to the sturdy components. A custom designed extension plate is available and can be fitted in either end of the table. The tables are available in two sizes.

Key Selling Points

The minimalistic and light aesthetic of the table frame is achieved by special designed steel profiles developed and manufactured exclusively for our Vipp dining tables.

Height adjustable stainless steel gliders gives the possibility to adjust the height of the table to the height of the user and to make sure that chairs fit nicely under the table.

The table is prepared for extension plates to be fitted in both ends, creating additionally 2 comfortable seating places at each table end. The extension plates can be bought along with the table or retrofitted if the need occurs.

The straight legs of the table are placed at each corner, giving space for legs during use. There will be no fight between the table legs and the knees of guest seated.

Characteristics

Due to the large span of the table and the placement of the legs, it is natural for this dining table to flex a bit on the middle. This can be visible to the eye as the table consist of very simple and straight lines in its design which allow the eye to catch this easily. This is not a production issue or a functional issue, but a natural characteristic of this table.

The heat pressed ceramic is a very durable and sturdy material, but there is a risk of creating fractures or cracks in the ceramics if a person sits on the corner and end of the table, as this area is floating and not supported. Also, it is important to shield the table top from impacts from hard and heavy objects as this may cause damage to the table top as well.

The oak veneer is stitched together in a herringbone pattern. The pieces are matched between a mix of cuts to create play in the table surface. Each piece

AVAILABILITY will have its own unique expression and pattern. As the stitching together of the veneer pieces is a handheld operation, gaps smaller than the thickness of a fingernail between two pieces can occur.

The product fulfills the requirements in EN 15372 L2 and ANSI Bifma X5.5.

For the ceramic tabletop, ceramic tile cleaner is advised, and it is important to follow the instructions on the cleaning product.

Cleaning of the frame and legs should be done using a damp cloth. Immediately after cleaning the frame, wipe it dry with a clean cloth. It is important not to use any acid containing cleaning agents.
