About Me
I am a fourth year student in pursuit of architecture and design. I am currently doing my 7TH semester of Bachelors in Architecture in Chandigarh University. For me architecture has been a very interesting journey where i could experiment with design, forms and materials and learn from them. As Le Corbusier quoted,I prefer drawing to talking. Drawing is faster and leaves less room for lies. I am a person who truly believes in the power of sketching and the fact that its the most effective and universal way of conveying ideas.

PROJECTS
1 SCHOOL OF SCHOLARS
A SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL The aim of the project was to design a senior secondary school in the harsh climate of the city of Alwar, Rajasthan, India. The city experiences very harsh summer, so the main focus was to tackle the extreme climate condition and maintain comfort inside the campus.
SCHOOL OF SCHOLARS
SITE LOCATION AREA
ALWAR, RAJASTHAN INDIA, 301001
CONCEPT The idea is to create a micro-climate in the campus. The campus should naturally stay cool. The architecture should depict the indigenous elements of Rajasthan.
ELEMENTS OF DESIGN
The aim is to incorporate elements of Rajasthani Culture, using them for the functioning of the campus.
JAALI
Traditional Jaalis have been a part of Rajasthan from ages. Using them as a design element would represent vercaular architecture.
1. A more compact and opaque Jaali pattern to cutout harsh summer sunlight. 2. Bigger openings to allow winter sun to enter campus.
BAOLI (WATER WELLS)
Baolis are an integral part of architecture of Rajasthan. These are the water wells built to make an area cooler and are also used for fullfilling water demands.
DESIGN PROCESS 1. Dividing blocks according to different functions i.e. blocks for different class categories Admin and primary classes block
Secondary classes block
Senior Secondary classes block
2. Central space between the blocks would act as the central courtyard. Hot air rises up through central courtyard
Central Courtyard acts as an air reservoir
Central Courtyard acts as a light reservoir
3. Building an envelope around the building to block harsh summer and winter winds. 1. Baolis would cool the campus by cooling the air passing through them. 2. These would also help students to get a sense of traditional architecture of Rajasthan.
LOUVERS For creating an interesting facade by mixing it with the contemporary architectural elements.
Envelope made by using Jaali would also act as a facade for the campus.
Enclosed zone for students and extra curricular activities.

2 THE FARM HOSTEL
BOYS AND GIRLS HOSTEL The aim of the project was to design a University Hostel for boys and girls. We were required to design a fabulous environment as per the basic needs of the students as residing in hostel is a mandate. So, hostel itself is to be fulfilling all the requirements. Design of hostel should be climate responsive and to provide facilities for all.
SITE LOCATION AREA
CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY CAMPUS, KHARAR, PUNJAB, INDIA.
CONCEPT The idea is to design two different hostels for boys and girls but combined with their common space. Library being the common space would combine the two blocks. Raising it on Pilotis would also make it act as a foyer for both the blocks.
DESIGN PROCESS 1. Taking Hostel as a single cube, and dividing into two for boys and girls.
Cutting into two
Taking out space to combine and form a common space.

Dividing it into two blocks
2. Combining the space and extending it so as it would act as a foyer for both blocks and raising it on Pilotis. Extending the combined space

SITE LOCATION AREA
KHARAR, PUNJAB, INDIA, 140301 17.20 ACRES
DESIGN PROCESS
Dividing housing groups into three according to requirement.
A continuous circulation among the spaces creating a loop
Providing open green spaces for groups.
These three circles would act as connecting spaces.
Placing Housing groups along the circulation spaces.
Providing open private green spaces for groups.

4 CARE AND CURE HOSPITAL MULTI SPECIALITY HOSPITAL The aim of the project was to design a 200 bedded hospita with other facilities with theobjective to develop with international standards and provide comprehensive and modern infrastructure for diagnosis and treatment for cancer.
SITE LOCATION AREA
MEDICITY, PUNJAB, INDIA 8.65 ACRES
DESIGN PROCESS 1. Taking the general shapes of hospital, and molding it, so that it seems like two blocks are pulling each other.
2. The resulting shape would follow the general idea but with a different approach.
SITE PLAN
3. The blocks would be connected by a bridge and the central area would act as an administration block and its terrace as a central plaza for the patients and visitors.
