USEFUL TIPS:  Use a good variety of adjectives to make your descriptions more vivid  You will need the Present Simple to describe activities. Remember that the passive is often used to describe preparations and celebrations, too.  You can use the following expressions: • The festival is held / celebrated... • The festival takes place... • The festival is organised by... • It commemorates / celebrates... • Preparations begin... • The streets are decorated / linen with... • The streets are crowded with... • People come from ....to see all the events • They wear... • The dress up in... • They take part in...
