Location : Dhubri, Assam
Site Area : 8482 sq.m.
To empower and educate women of all ages in Dhubri, the project was conceived, with a girl-centric design incorporated for this purpose. The building design considers the climate of Dhubri, with the vertical axis along the north influencing the mass design. What sets the project apart is its inclusion of various activities for women and its capacity to support flood victims during crises. The staggered classroom mass encourages children to engage in way-finding activities and games. The project’s future prospects include raising awareness about education in every household, making it a unique initiative.

Women in Dhubri have been subjected to emotional distress due to early marriages, which are viewed by parents as a means of strengthening financial ties with their in-laws. Instead, women should be recognized as powerful agents of knowledge dissemination, and educating them would benefit the entire family.
