The Certified Incident Handling Engineer (CIHE) course is designed to help Incident Handlers, System Administrators, and Cyber Security Engineers to understand how to plan, create and utilise their systems to prevent, detect and respond to attacks. In the course, you will learn the step-by-step approaches used by hackers globally, the latest attack vectors and how to safeguard against them. You will be introduced to the threats, vulnerabilities and exploits, IH preparation, request trackers for incident handling. The course covers the proper procedures for preliminary responses after attacks, identification and initial responses. Finally, you will know about Sysinternals, containment, eradication, follow-up, recovery, virtualisation security, and malware incident handling. In short, you will learn the different types of cyber attacks and the strategies for recovering from them. You will also know the Incident Handling procedures including developing the process from start to finish and establishing your Incident Handling team.
