How often in the past ten (10) months have we heard or even said ourselves, I cannot wait until we get back to normal. (Just a side note, you are not alone.) I have said it many times during this pandemic. Can I tell you something, I do not believe we will never get back to “normal”? Normal in the dictionary is defined as such, conforming to a standard; usual, typical, or expected. Let us take this walk together down memory lane as to what “normal” appeared like precovid-19. Normal for the average individual was lack of family time due to schoolwork for children, extracurricular activities, carpool, business trips which equate to time away from home and other loved ones. High school and college graduates were not held in a conventional way, they were celebrated with a driveby,a honk of the horn, and a card if you were lucky.
