WHO WE ARE We are a team of experts, specializing in the provision of evidence based solutions to Governments, bilateral and multi-lateral agencies, non-governmental organizations, research institutions, regional authorities and community based organizations. We have a niche in post conflict and challenging environments, working with Governments, emerging public and private institutions, humanitarian and development actors. We have a diverse team, highly skilled in varied thematic areas. Our consultants have lead teams into accomplishing a wide range of complex projects that involve many professionally-regulated stakeholder groups, by using collaborative, participatory and all inclusive approaches. Our professionals have previous experience in working with International NGOs, local NGOs, Government Institutions, Universities, United Nations Agencies, Media Houses, among other recognized institutions. Along with strengths in oral and written communications, our team has strong analytical skills with both quantitative and qualitative expertise in the broad areas of research and programming.

GENDER UNIT Gender equality is essential for empowering both women and men and addressing social injustice, promoting economic Growth and eradicating poverty. Our Consultancy assignments are undertaken by a team of experienced professionals who have a cumulative experience in their respective areas of work. At Vision Quest, our team is geared towards initiating and advancing workable approaches to gender equality. We work with all levels of institutions and communities with the aim of strengthening their own initiatives. We have substantive experience and in-depth knowledge in policy formulation for sustainable community development. VQC pool of experts is well specialized in conceptualizing, developing, testing and promoting appropriate support systems, strategies and models for advocacy and capacity building. VISION QUEST & DEVOLUTION With the realization of the Devolved Government, we aim to strengthen the County Governments in Kenya through advisory services in addressing their respective goals in a relevant, effective, efficient, sustainable and coherent manner. We have developed a generic, customizable program of engaging with and supporting counties across the 14 areas of competence assigned by the constitution. Some of these focal areas include: • Legal and Policy framework in relation to counties. With respect to legislation and policy making VQC offers services relating to the advice and drafting of the substance of county legislation and policies, procedure and dissemination. Capacity building for effective management on constitution, legal regime on devolution, Human rights based approach, accountability, non- discrimination, human dignity, transparency, rule of law and empowerment. • Strategic Planning, Budget and Service Delivery Vision quest has vast experience e in the preparation of strategic plans for a variety of national, regional and international clients. In strategic planning, we adopt a particular and consultative approach that takes into consideration the principles and values of strategic planning, national values and principles in Article 10 and the Human rights based approach decreed by the constitution.
