GENDER UNIT Gender equality is essential for empowering both women and men and addressing social injustice, promoting economic Growth and eradicating poverty. VISION QUEST & DEVOLUTION With the realization of the Devolved Government, we aim to strengthen the County Governments in Kenya through advisory services in addressing their respective goals in a relevant, effective, efficient, sustainable and coherent manner. We have developed a generic, customizable program of engaging with and supporting counties across the 14 areas of competence assigned by the constitution. Some of these focal areas include: • Legal and Policy framework in relation to counties. Capacity building for effective management on constitution, legal regime on devolution, Human rights based approach, accountability, non- discrimination, human dignity, transparency, rule of law and empowerment. • Strategic Planning, Budget and Service Delivery Vision quest has vast experience e in the preparation of strategic plans for a variety of national, regional and international clients. In strategic planning, we adopt a particular and consultative approach that takes into consideration the principles and values of strategic planning, national values and principles in Article 10 and the Human rights based approach decreed by the constitution.
