General Rules and Restrictions:
1. Performing car or bike stunts on the tarmac road or near camps, restaurants, shops, companies, or any areas with public presence (as indicated on the map) is strictly prohibited.
2. Organizing individual competitions or championships without obtaining prior approval from the Liwa Sports Club is prohibited.
3. Driving ATVs (quads) or MX bikes on the asphalt road is not allowed.
4. Ensure the safety of headlights and taillights when engaging in dune bashing at night.
5. All necessary safety and security precautions must be taken to prevent fires and accidents at the site.
Advice and Recommendations:
1. Ensure the vehicle›s brakes are in proper working condition when dune bashing or performing stunts with cars or motorbikes.
2. Equip your vehicle with both front and rear hooks to facilitate towing in case of technical failure.
3. Consider installing a protective roll cage inside vehicles before dune bashing or performing stunts, as it plays a crucial role in ensuring safety.
4. Separate the fuel tank from the battery in modified cars as a safety measure.
5. Wear appropriate safety gear, including a helmet, and avoid wearing national dress. Always fasten your seat belt when performing stunts with cars or motorbikes.
6. Remove loose objects from inside the car before driving on sand dunes.
7. It is advisable to have a first aid kit on hand.
Uphill/Dune Bashing Guide and Directions:
The Uphill and Dune Bashing area is located at the far eastern corner of the main dune, open to the public for performing stunts and dune bashing with their own vehicles. Spectators can also enjoy watching the performances.
Safety Guidelines for Uphill/Dune Bashing Area:
• The Uphill and Dune Bashing area is open to the public from 12:00 noon until 1:00 am after midnight.
• Performing car or bike stunts outside the specified hours or after the area lights are turned off is strictly prohibited.
• Avoid creating disruptive noise intentionally near neighboring camping areas.
• Ensure a safe path while climbing the hill to prevent accidents.
• Do not approach or damage the fence surrounding the Uphill and Dune Bashing area or any racing or private areas.
• Do not attempt to open the gates if they are closed by the club›s management.
• Respect the privacy of others in the area.
• Camping activities are not allowed near the Uphill and Dune Bashing area.
• Follow the instructions provided in the general safety guide for the site. Violation Consequences:
