Airlift Update
North America
Starting in November 2024, American Airlines will launch a daily non-stop service from JFK, New York to Barbados. Additionally, a Saturday-only service from Philadelphia will also begin in November. The Boston route will see an increase to 3x weekly flights. After a seven-year hiatus, Delta Air Lines will resume daily service from Atlanta, Georgia to Barbados, beginning in November 2024, alongside a Saturdayonly service from New York, starting in December. Both Delta services will operate through April 2025.
On October 1st we celebrated JetBlue’s 15th Anniversary of flying to Barbados. On December 3rd, we marked 75 years of Air Canada servicing Barbados.
Regional Travel
In January 2024, Copa Airlines increased its frequency to 4x per week between Barbados and Panama. Starting in November 2024, WinAir will begin connecting Barbados to St. Maarten, Dominica, St. Lucia, and Martinique, expanding access to the French Caribbean.

The Rockley Hotel
The newly opened Rockley Hotel on the South Coast of Barbados is a fresh take on the former South Beach Hotel, now owned and operated by the Ocean Hotels Group. Located near Rockley Beach, the hotel showcases local artwork throughout its design, with a new “Art for the People” gallery in the lobby that will feature rotating installations by local artists. The hotel offers 49 rooms and suites, providing guests with a unique and artistic experience in a prime location.
