At 368 m above sea level, Lake Idro is the highest lake in Lombardy’s Prealps and represents an ideal destination for those who love peace and quiet but also extreme sports. Nestled between Sabbia Valley mountains and Lombardy’s Prealps, it borders with Trentino and is characterised by a constant wind which makes it the perfect place to sail, surf, and kite surf. The surrounding mountains are the ideal setting for mountain biking, “via ferrata” rock climbing, paragliding, canyoning, and dynamic and fun activities.
