The province of Brescia boasts no less than 13 starred restaurants, meaning that they have been awarded the prestigious recognition of the Michelin Guide, the most renowned restaurant rating system in the world. This confirms the great attention that the province gives to satisfying the palate and providing outstanding service. The province is part of the East Lombardy project and in 2017 obtained the European Region of Gastronomy recognition.
