Bontà is a natural, artisan gelato company that has grown to such popularity in Bend that it can be found on dessert menus in some of the town’s top restaurants. Husband and wife duo Jeff and Juli Labhart spent a year traveling the world in search of new and exciting tastes. After training with traditional Italian gelato masters, the couple opened Bontà. Find flavors like Turkish coffee, dulce de leche & sea salt, and locally-sourced Tumalo lavender & honey, alongside classics like chocolate and vanilla, with many gluten-free options.

Many Central Oregon locals can recognize an Ida’s cupcake right away, and the treats are commonplace at events across the region, from weddings to birthdays. Ida’s claims the secret to success is the variety of homemade cake and buttercream frosting recipes, and the option for customers to combine any two flavors. They also offer many gluten-free options. Single orders and catering specials are available in person, for curbside pickup, and mail order.

The local candy store boasts handmade chocolates and ice creams, inhouse popped caramel corn, candied apples, milkshakes and a vast selection of gummy candies. The chocolate is natural and additivefree, and uses beans from the Guittard Chocolate Company, while the ice cream is made in partnership with local dairy and berry producers, providing the freshest flavors around.
