EXCHANGE ISLAND
Located just east of Downtown Jacksonville, Exchange Island Park sits on 34 acres of land in the middle of the St. Johns River. Originally called “Mud Island for its lack of vegetation, this City Park now offers an urban oasis for adventure lovers with lush trees, hiking trails, picnic areas and a boat launch all in the heart of Jacksonville. Exchange Island is the best spot to visit for stunning 360-degree views of our Downtown and its bridges, skyline and our beautiful St. Johns River. We invite you to bring the whole family out to experience this hidden Jacksonville gem! Furry friends are welcome in the park.
