Come and enjoy something a bit different at the historical setting of a steam brewery! Kotkan Höyrypanimo (Kotka Steam Brewery) is one of Kotka’s oldest buildings and a local point of pride. The building houses the Kotka Steam Brewery and restaurant Keisarinsatama, which combines Italianstyle cuisine with local ingredients. Host your meeting here and finish it off with an organised tour of the facilities.
In addition, the restaurant can provide catering for parties and corporate events, both large and small. Höyrypanimo is located at Keisarinsatama (Imperial Harbor), in the Metsola district. It’s accessible, for example, via the Alexander III trail, starting from the Kotka town center, or straight to the restaurants’ lovely terrace by boat – it’s the perfect place to take in the sunset with a glass of the local beer.

Aeronautica ArenaThe Maretarium is a natural aquarium of Finnish fish species located at the Sapokka harbour in Kotka. Wanha Veteraani is a peacekeeping and crisis management museum, but it also serves as a unique venue for meetings and events where you can stay overnight and experience the life of a peacekeeper. Wanha VeteraaniArrange a memorable visit in the fresh air of the forests of the south-eastern border, in the most heavily fortified area of the late-war Salpalinja (Salpa Line). Have an authentic experience amid history and nature, and enjoy delicious food made from local ingredients. At the Salpa Line Museum in Miehikkälä, you can learn about the area’s history and assemble in a wartime fire-controlled bunker (max 16 people). At the Virolahti Bunker Museum, the very special Korsupiknik tour is like a trip back in time to the war era, culminating in refreshments served in the twilight of a concrete bunker. Both the Salpalinja Museum in Miehikkälä and the Bunker Museum in Virolahti are available for meetings and various events. In between meetings, take a hike or a bike ride along the Salpa trail that connects these museums.

Kotka Parks Langinkoski Imperial LodgeHave your next meeting and discover world-class architecture at Sunila in Kotka. Designed by worldfamous architect Alvar Aalto, Sunila is the one of the most internationally renowned architectural destinations in Finland. Once called the most beautiful factory in the world, the Sunila pulp mill and its residential area became an icon of Aalto’s international modernism. They were featured at the Paris and New York World Fairs in 1937 and 1939.
Until the 1980s, Kantola was the home of the pulp mill’s director but nowadays serves as a space for various private or corporate events and accommodation.
