Take an open top bus sightseeing tour, get spooked with the Ghost Walks and relax on the Brayford Belle River cruise. Follow in the steps of Romans with our self-guided trails and visit our museums and galleries – great for families and adults too.
Visit Lincoln Castle where you can see Magna Carta & 1217 Charter of the Forest as part of the newly refurbished castle experience. Explore the Medieval Wall Walks and uncover the stories of the 1,000 years of history. You will quickly fall in love with the surrounding cobbled streets of the Cathedral Quarter and pick up local treasures in the raft of independent shops, antique centres and boutiques.
If enjoying the outdoors is your thing, Lincoln is surrounded by lush green countryside ideal for walking and cycling. The Water Rail Way delights visitors with unusual displays of outdoor art (inspired by Tennyson) along this mostly off road walking and cycling trail and Sustrans Route 64 is just on the doorstep.
