Join us in downtown Loveland for Valentine’s Dayweekend during the Loveland Sweetheart Festival to celebrate love and artwith a little MissValentine and Mr. Cupid contest, tunnel of love, live music, a race, and more. During the first two weeks of February, Chapungu Sculpture Park comes to lifewithValentine’s lights and décor. Both events are free and open to the public.

Every February, theThompsonValleyRotary creates more than 300wooden hearts that are hung on streetlights across the city, eachwith a special message from sweethearts and families, including humorous messages such as “I loveyou more than bacon.”

The Chamber’s Citywith HeARTprogram encouragesvisitors to explore Loveland year-round. 40 artistic hearts (with more coming soon) can be found across the cityandyou can earn a souvenir for seeing them all. Get the map, locate each heart, snap a photo and come to theVisitors Center foryour souvenir. What started as a stamping oddityover 76 years ago has evolved into the largest valentine re-mailing program in the country. Eachyear hundreds of people send theirvalentines through Loveland to be lovinglyhand-stamped forValentine’s Day.The Chamber still runs this program today.
