DAY FOUR:
MORNING Visit Sliema; originally a small fishing village, the present-day town is home to shopping malls, modern eateries, eclectic bars and chic cafés.
If you’re in need of some retail therapy, The Point and The Plaza shopping malls boast a number of outlets selling everything from fashion to electronics. Alternatively, visit one of Sliema’s waterfront cafés whilst watching the kids appreciate a refreshing swim off of the rocks.
AFTERNOON Take your pick of where to enjoy lunch; Sliema boasts a number of restaurants serving Maltese, Mediterranean and Western cuisine.
EVENING Proceed to St Julian’s for an evening stroll down the picturesque promenade. There are endless restaurants to choose from for dinner.
Paceville, located in St. Julian’s, is known for its bars and club scene, if your children are over 18 they may wish to spend the evening here.

MORNING Proceed to CIRKEWWA for the 25-minute ferry crossing to GOZO. Stunning bays hug the sparkling crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean, topographical cliffs rise from the gentle sea, and beautiful sandy beaches open up the landscape to untouched countryside dotted with villages, majestic churches, farmsteads and the oldest known freestanding structures in the world.
Explore the ĠGANTIJA TEMPLES in Xagħra. The Ġgantija Temples are the oldest, free-standing monuments in the world; created 1,000 years before the famous Egyptian Pyramids of Giza. The temples are a unique architectural masterpiece and a witness to an exceptional prehistoric culture renowned for its remarkable architectural, artistic and technological achievements. The temple builders used locally available stone; hard coralline limestone for external walls and the softer globigerina limestone for the sheltered interiors and decorative elements.
Discover VICTORIA, known to the Maltese as Rabat; Gozo’s capital city. The city was named in 1887 in honour of Queen Victoria during her Jubilee year.
Visit the CITADEL; a small fortified city which lies in the heart of Victoria. The area has been inhabited since the Bronze Age, and in the medieval era it was known as the Gran Castello.
AFTERNOON Enjoy lunch at Ta’ Rikardu Restaurant for views of Gozo’s capital Victoria and Gozitan cuisine.
DAY FIVE:
Visit DREAMS OF HORSES, a family run farm located in Xaghra. Meet and feed the animals, experience the breath-taking scenery with a personal horse drawn carriage ride or walk the ponies through the countryside; each activity is one for the family to remember. All proceeds made from the experiences go toward rescuing farmyard animals and animal healing for children with disabilities.
Discover RAMLA BAY, known in Maltese as Ramla il-Hamra (Red Sands), the biggest sandy beach on Gozo. The area that surrounds the beach is beautifully undeveloped, there are a couple of cafes behind the beach selling food and refreshments.
EVENING After a wonderful day spent exploring the island, enjoy a traditional Gozitan meal at Ta Philip; the restaurant is committed to supporting locally sourced seasonal produce. Following dinner, take a 10-minute walk to MGARR HARBOUR for your ferry crossing to Cirkewwa, Malta.

MORNING Spend the morning at MELLIEHA BAY, Malta’s longest sandy beach stretching across 800m. The beach slopes gently into ankle deep crystal clear water for approximately 50-metres, making it a perfect beach for families with children. The beach offers an abundance of water-based activities including waterskiing, jetskiing, paddleboarding and speed boat tours. AFTERNOON Take a 20-minute boat ride from Cirkewwa to COMINO, the smallest of the Maltese Islands. Comino is famous for the BLUE LAGOON, one of the most picturesque locations on the Maltese archipelago. The small cove between Comino and the uninhabited islet of Cominotto, boasts turquoise shallow waters perfect for swimming, snorkelling, kayaking and exploring by boat.

MORNING Enjoy a trip to MARSAXLOKK the foremost fishing village and one of the most picturesque localities on the island. Find small fishing boats, known as the Luzzu and Kajjik, painted in vivid colours of red, yellow, green and blue floating gracefully on the calm waters of the bay. There is a fish market in the morning, where the fishermen’s wives sell the catch of the day to the locals. AFTERNOON Visit the BLUE GROTTO, the picturesque natural attraction and its neighbouring caverns are known to mirror the stunning phosphorescent colours of the underwater flora.
The Blue Grotto is a short ten-minute drive from Malta International Airport; perfect for your last stop on the island.
