ITINERARY Day 1: Reception at the airport or at your hotel in the morning (as early as possible) and transfer to the boat in a taxi or a private minibus. Welcome on board on the M/F Selva Viva and installation in your cabin. We will sail on the Marañon to the confluence with the Ucayali, the birth place of the mythic Amazon River. Lunch on board. Birdwatching on the small Yarapa river during the afternoon with the auxiliary boat. Hike to observe giant water lilies and hoatzins (prehistoric bird). Dinner and night on board.
Day 2: Breakfast on board. Early in the morning, jungle hiking with a local guide who will explain the forest natural resources management by the inhabitants, and particularly the medicinal plants use. We will observe many species of birds and probably monkeys around the lagoon. Possibility of piranhas fishing. Then we will sail to Nauta caño, inside the Pacaya Samiria’s Reserve. The rangers will talk about the conservation of the different species of the region. Excursion hiking or on a small boat to observe the incredible biodiversity of this place. Dinner and night on board.
Day 3: Breakfast on board while we sail to the confluence of the Marañon and Pucate river, where we will observe the grey and pink dolphins around the boat. Visit of the 20 de Enero community, where our NGO produce Buriti oil with the inhabitants. Possibility to swim in the river, to fish with local fishermen or to organize activities with the children. Dinner and night on board in the entrance of the Reserve.
Day 4: Breakfast on board. Stop in Fundo Casual to discover the Primary forest. Jungle trek with a local guide to observe the giants trees and many species of tropical frogs. Then the inhabitants will present a large set of handicrafts. Lunch on board. Arrival in Nauta around 3 PM. Transfer to the airport or to your hotel. FARES: 836 US$/person (base 4 persons). INCLUDE: in/out transfer in private minibus or taxi (hotel or airport to ship on departure day and ship to airport or hotel on arrival day), all inclusive accommodation on board (simple, double or triple cabins according to choice and/or availability), treated water and season fruits 24h a day, trilingual guides (French, Spanish, English).

Administration and insurance fees are never refunded; their costs are about 5% of the total travel amount. Every cancellation from the customer leads to various costs. The refund amount depends on your date of cancellation: - More than 60 days before the departure: lost of the deposit. - From 60 days to 30 days before departure: lost of 50% of the total travel amount. - From 30 days to 15 days before the departure: lost of 75% of the total travel amount. - From 15 days before the departure: lost of 100% of the total travel amount.
