Craft Beer Expo Coming to Sioux Falls in November (Sioux Falls, SD)— The brand new Sioux Falls Craft Beer Expo will be held at the Convention Center at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center November 8 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. The Expo will showcase offerings from craft breweries in South Dakota and all over the country. Attendees of the Expo will have the opportunity to sample beers from over 40 craft breweries in a commemorative sampling glass. Educational seminars will be held throughout the day covering subjects such as food pairing, home brewing, and the history of brewing. With brewery and distributor representatives on hand to answer questions, attendees will be able to have an enjoyable and educational experience learning about beer, its components, and flavors. The Sioux Falls Craft Beer Expo is dedicated to bringing beer lovers from Sioux Falls and the surrounding areas shining examples of the amazing movement that is craft beer. With breweries from coast to coast the opportunity to sample a wide variety of beers is inevitable. “Putting on a craft beer event in Sioux Falls has been a long time coming,” said organizers Mark Opdahl and Juno Choi. “We’re excited to finally make it here.” “The amazing people at the Convention Center, JJ’s Wine, Spirits, and Cigars, Taylor’s Pantry, and Taphouse 41 all helped make it possible for us to bring a Chop Liver Craft Beer Festival to Sioux Falls, and it will truly be a wonderful and educational craft beer experience for enthusiasts in the area,” Opdahl said. The organizers of the Chop Liver Craft Beer Festival hold charities near and dear to their hearts. As with any event organized by them, the Sioux Falls Craft Beer Expo is no different. A silent auction will take place with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the JY6 Foundation, a 501©(3) public charity that focuses on funding research in the areas of pediatric oncology and leukemia research.
