MEASURING MOMENTUM

Earlierthis year, the Momentum 2027 Executive Committee approved strategic metrics to measure the overall success of Momentum 2027 and the rate of change each year the plan is being implemented. Those strategic metrics — some of which are already being used to determine progress — include net promoter score, population growth, jobs in Shawnee County, household income, capital investment, gross domestic product, retail consumption, higher education, and poverty rate. A metric tracker will be used going forward to indicate whether each metric is on target or in need of additional resources and attention. Meanwhile, initiative chairs/committees are also developing success measures to monitor progress on individual objectives.
