FORGE HOSTS INAUGURAL YP DAY AT THE CAPITOL

OnFeb. 13, Forge Young Talent hosted the first-ever Kansas Young Professionals Day at the Capitol. Forge invited young professional organizations from across the state to attend the day at the capitol to advocate for young professionals in their communities. About 75 young professionals attended the day of events. They were welcomed by opening remarks from a YP in Lt. Gov. David Toland’s office, which was followed by an Advocacy 101 panel featuring Kansas lobbyists. YPs also had lunch with legislators from the Future Caucus and had the opportunity to meet with their elected representatives.
