This 778-acre site served as an historic backdrop for the Revolutionary War film, The Patriot, starring Mel Gibson. Enjoy living history programs every Saturday featuring costumed interpreters. The park preserves the battlefield site in a natural setting evocative of the Carolina frontier of 1780, commemorating one of the most important Patriot victories of the American Revolution.

Groups are welcome for environmental education explorations, guided nature hikes or historical tours, including a replica grist mill modeled after the historic Garrison-Webb Grist Mill and two historic cabins.

Rustic cabins are available for groups.
