Holiday Ornament Tour Collect an Ornament from One and All!
Day 1 Christmas Light Ring in the holiday spirit! Arrive mid-afternoon to check into your hotel, relax for a bit, and enjoy a holiday welcome reception. Receive an ornament to start your collection. Enjoy dinner in Old Town Rock Hill as the city kicks off ChristmasVille with the annual “Lighting of the Village” ceremony. Festival activities include entertainment, art exhibits and a host of shops and vendors to begin your holiday shopping.
Day 2 Camera Light Experience Rock Hill’s Native American culture and traditions with the Catawba Indians. “The People of the River” will share their authentic holiday traditions with drum and dance performances. Receive an ornament. Lunch and a holiday decorating demonstration are included at Glencairn Garden. This 11-acre garden includes tiered fountains and ponds, showcase gardens, boardwalks, a performance stage and beautiful flower-filled walkways. The Veterans Garden is a tribute to past, present and future generations of the military. Receive an ornament. Enjoy a pastry and afternoon tea at The White Home. Once owned by one of Rock Hill’s founding families, this 1839 historic home showcases a collection of historic photographs and documents spanning five generations. Receive an ornament. Tonight see why NarroWay Productions is the premier Christian theater of the South! Enjoy a delicious dinner and a hearty serving of Southern hospitality as every audience is greeted and served by the NarroWay cast. Live animals, talented actors, original scripts, inspiring music and a delicious meal themed after the show are all part of the NarroWay experience. Receive an ornament.
Day 3 Candle Light After enjoying a casual breakfast at your hotel, learn how people farmed the land, cooked their food and entertained themselves in the 17th and 18th centuries at Historic Brattonsville, a 775-acre Revolutionary War site. More than 30 original structures chronicle the history of the Carolina Piedmont spanning three generations of Bratton families. Receive an ornament.
