What is an Acute Angle What is an Acute Angle In mathematics, when two rays are meet on a particular point then it generate a new figure which is known as angle. A ray can be defined as a part of a line which has a finite length in a single direction. The rays of angle are known as sides of the angles. The meet points of the sides of an angle are known as vertex point. The concept of angles is given by the great mathematician MR. Euclidean. Angles are usually considered in a Euclidean plane. The word ‘angle’ comes from the Latin word ‘angulus’ which means refers as ‘a corner’. According to the mathematical definition we can define the angles as a combination of two rays which are meeting on a common end point. Here rays are also known as half line. There are various kind of angle are defined in mathematics. Normally the concepts of an angle are used in the geometrical shape like rectangle, square, polygon, and quadrilateral and so on. Form the above example we observe one thing that the concept of angles only works on those geometrical shape that are formed with the help of straight lines.

In below we show you some of the angles that are consider as a types of an angles. (A)
Acute angle: An acute angle is an angle that has the measure less than 90 degree.
(B) Obtuse angle: An Obtuse angle is an angle that has the measure greater than 90 degree. (C) Right angle: It is a special kind of an angle that has the measurement equals to the 90 degree. Here we are going to discussing about the acute angle. During the study of an angle a question arises in our mind that What is an Acute Angle. An acute angle is an angle that has the measurement less than 90 degree. An acute angle plays an important role to evaluate the measurement of the geometrical shape that has the measurement of an angle less than 90 degree. Acute angle is like 45 degree, or an angle from 1 degree to 89 degree can be considered as acute angle. When we perform the deal with an acute angle then there are some of the points need to remember. As they are given below: A)
In an acute angle corner point of an angle are known as vertex point.
B)
The straight sides of an acute angle are known as rays or arms of an angle.
C)
An acute angle can be considered as a amount of rotation between each ray.
When we draw an acute angle as identical or in case of drawing geometrical shapes then we need to remember some of the points about the labeling of an angle. a) At the time of creating an acute angle then it is necessary to give a name of an angle in the alphabetic form like a, b, c up to z.

b) In the case of three letters on the shape which defines an angle then middle letter shows the point where actual angle is formed. Suppose there is an angle ∠BAC, here angle is formed on the point A and remaining point B and C are the end points of the rays. In the below we show some of the examples that are related to the concept of acute angle. Example: find the acute angle from the below given measurement of an angles? 105o, 85o, 90o, 57o, 145o, 78o and 23o Solution: From the above given we need to find out the acute angle. As we all are very well aware that acute angle has the measurement less then 90 degree. So, form the above series of angles, acute angles is 85o 57o 78o 23o In the above we can see that the entire angle has the measurement less than 90 degree.
