NORHEIM COLLECTIONS & VISUELLE PLUS
Some of the first images of Eiborg´s work that I observed was presented by FJORDS Magazine. He was at the time an active painter in New York. He has references to star customers in New York and prestigious collaborations internationally and in Norway.
Espen Eiborg was introduced to Roger Norheim by the famous photographer Per Heimly some years ago, and the development of Eiborg˙s work has been followed by my eager eyes since then.

For VISUELLE PLUS, Mr Eiborgs work contains an approach to paintings that I believe could appeal to a large audience, in spite of the fact that some of Eiborg`s works provoque by breaking taboos. Has anyone noticed that he combines his shows with performances, more or less sexy? The esthetics in my opinion are indisputable. Yoko Ono prints sheets of papers with words like “PEACE�, calls it art and sells it for a fortune. Is it a question of taste? Is there any artistic honesty involved? Eiborgs decorations of restaurants as well as high-profiled companies contributes to a feeling of belonging, without any further need of explanation. The format is naive, but still complete. Contrasts without being too graphic. There is feeling... .... that feeling is brought to you by Espen Eiborg. It is a great pleasure to share my snapshots from his vernissage with you, and I hope that you will follow his work further, because he is full of surprises. There are thousands more words I could write about Eiborg`s paintings, but I will let you discover it on your own terms.
