ntrepreneurship is a form of art. It is creativity morphing into existence from the mind of the entrepreneur. The art of entrepreneurship therefore is one that is so attractive, it is desired by all who possess a creative mind to build a piece of art that functions to amaze and serve all who may be in need, successfully and effectively. The art of entrepreneurship is one that looks easy, relatable, flexible and duplicatable. However, entrepreneurship which is further defined as the art of building a business that is creative enough to effectively meet the need of its end users, is no easy task.

Building a business is plain and simple hard work, but building an entrepreneur is even harder work! YOUNG AND VIBRANT ENTREPRENEUR EMERGING Inara Alazigha, popularly known as Inara Ziha, is a 24-year old artist and an outstanding individual . She is one who we can all truly call a multipotentialite (a person who has multiple talents and potential) in the making. Inara’s journey to greatness started while she was pursuing her first degree in the University of Lagos. As one of the students who studied Mechanical Engineerig, Inara gradually began to learn and build her entrepreneurship skills along with a great and resilient fighting spirit. In 2016, she started out as a selftaught make-up artist and began to monetize her skill. Despite the stress of taking on her academic workload, she also decided to start a small brand for what has now become her make-up suite called Ekoglow. Ekoglow became a sensation and began to gain popularity on campus and later, within Lagos. Inara at the time decided not to relent due to the increasing levels of responsibility, rather she began to venture into other areas of artistry such as hand rendered illustrations, realistic drawing and painting. Inara continued to acquire skills in portrait drawing until she graduated from the University of Lagos. n 2018, her final year in school, she had her first exhibition at the Cadeaux dans event and was later awarded Most creative student by the University of Lagos Engineering Society.

In 2019, Inara entered into the Nigerian Creative enterprise support program organized by the British Council where she reached the semi final stage of the competition. Later that year, she enrolled into Edubridge Academy where her group came first in a business challenge she participated in. She proceeded to get a short training with FMCDQ (next gen) and won the prize for the second runner up at the Foreign Exchange Trading competition. With all of these success stories piling up, it was all the confidence she needed to apply for the role of bridal consultant/Fashion Designer at Andrea Iyamah later in 2019, where she is currently working. It is no surprise that in 2020, Inara has begun building her own fashion consultancy where she consults for fashion brands and enthusiasts in the fashion industry, rendering various services including 2D drawing, 3D drawing, Tech Pack renditions and illustrations, to mention a few. In the future, Inara mentions that her flair for professional designs and providing solutions are key drivers for her intention to pursue a Masters degree in Product Design.

Born into a family where information concerning general finance, trading on the stock market, foreign exchange and international investments was common knowledge, it is no wonder why we trust her judgement when it comes to money matters. She has broken down some facts for easy application in our finance, savings and investment section on page 10.

I believe business is a part of life which cannot be done away with. This belief is premised on the fact that the needs of human beings are innumerable. Fortunately, in response to this fact, we are built to solve problems; one of the best examples of opportunities uniting with an entity's preparation. I love the sheer simplicity of it sometimes as well as well as observing its intricacies. I also love seeing owners and executives think up and successfully implementing business strategies. - Oreoluwa

My guess is as good as yours. This may mean we all don't have much of a clue! In the world we live in today, our guesses are most likely not good enough, if at all they are good. The notion that entrepreneurship is an inseparable part of life is a one I have learnt to come to terms with. I remember the first time I sold something; I was barely ten years old. I made a few hand-made cards and sold them to my classmates at what may now be referred to as a negligible price. I did this for the fun of it and also because I was curious.

That said, the world is now more complicated than ever before, there is a need to have much more than just a feeling of curiosity and innocent ambitiousness. "Dare to dream" is one of the articles I wrote to inspire the entrepreneur that once surfaced in me when I was much younger. My entrepreneurial journey these days is one that has taken a slow but steady flight; this I believe has been for a reason to ensure that there is a sufficient foundation to build sustainability. My goal however is to carry as many who wish like me to create an enterprise with impact, on board to a successful destination. IMPACT MAGAZINE

It’s a little obvious at this point, but a good question is; why invest? · Wise investments can Increase your financial worth, ‘wise’ being the keyword here since investments can be high risk. However not investing at all is more costly. A good example of this would be celebrities who branch out of their line of work which made them famous, into other profitable businesses for instance, Rihanna with Fenty Beauty, The Beckhams with their designer lines, Jay-Z and his numerous investments such as Roca wear, record labels, Banky-W with Sooyah Bistro outlets in Lagos, Nigeria etc.

It is at this point many begin to seek out “viable” business opportunities to pump money into, the chief of them being agriculture. This usually ends in ugly tears. While it is noble for them to do this in preparedness for the days to come, money has a Time Value. This is embodied in a concept which postulates that any sum of Money in the present has more value than the same sum in future. Not considering inflation now, money received earlier can earn you more interest compared to the same sum received later. It basically has more growth potential.

LARA BOSS “Ms. Janet, I’m so sorry. I promise I will fix up the report. It will be ready for submission tomorrow morning and I will take it to the postal office myself”.

AN ORIGINAL STORY WRITER: BOLADE ADEGBITE

Lara pleaded desperately, feeling very insecure and by this time uncontrollably emotional, she burst out in tears instinctively wiping her face with a hysterical demeanor. “I said get out of my office and pack your things along with you. You’re fired! I will not repeat myself” Ms. Janet yelled ever so loudly, the whole building even from five floors above and below could hear her scream. As her pitch grew decibels louder, so did her figure as it now began to occupy the whole space in the room,

Get out! Get out! Get out! Get out!.......” Get up! Get up! Get Up! Get Up!........

Lara sprang up violently to life at the sound of the alarm. With her right hand on her chest and her left scooping off streams of sweat from her forehead, partly relieved and partly troubled, she exclaimed “Oh Lord! It was just a dream!” Lara got out of bed reluctantly. Throughout the course of the night, the still air that refused her room a refreshing circulation and the lack of electricity in addition to the heart wrenching nightmare, had caused the bed to become soaking wet from the streams of sweat that made their way out of Lara’s skin in a bid to cool her body from the creeping heat, aggravating her irritation for the bed from which she arose.

Lara went on into the bathroom and picked up her toothbrush on the way. She spent another blissful ten minutes caressing each tooth with the brush which now had some toothpaste on it. For the next twenty minutes, Lara took her time to run some water in a bucket and then take a cool shower –one she had not been able to enjoy without having a constant reminder of the urgency to get to work. I studied mechanical engineering but I cannot say for sure that I am going to continue practice in the profession. My passion as an artiste unfolds everyday as I venture into the things that interest me. It is always amazing to me when I find out new talents I never knew existed as I explore myself”, Inara had this to say in response to a question asked by our interviews host on finding passion in the midst of feeling talentless.
