The ongoing resurgence of the Philippines is a product of the Filipino people’s commitment to follow the straight path, and of our national resolve to harness our collective strengths and resources for the country’s economic advancement. Message Living by its two-pronged thrust - “Enabling Business, Empowering Consumers - the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) aims to strike a balance between growing, business interests and protecting consumer rights and welfare with the end view of achieving inclusive growth in the country. To attain this, the DTI has established mechanisms that yield equal benefits, opportunities and protection for both business and consumers. Among the effective means that the DTI has created is the Bagwis Awards which gives recognition to business establishments that uphold consumer protection while practicing fair business ethics as an indicator for consumers in determining those who offer sale and quality products and services, and redress. Such is an example of what DTl envisions for industry to establish - endeavors that have an all-inclusive effect for all sectors in society. The Philippine Marketing Association (WA) - as a group leading the promotion of products and services in the marketplace - has the power to influence consumers’ choice. it is vital for your sector to achieve the same balance that the DTI advocates by creating innovative and profit-yielding marketing schemes that gain the trust of consumers through truth in marketing. Together, let us work collaboratively in raising the standards of doing business in the country and in achieving the ideal state of consumer protection. As one, let us propel the Philippines towards a dynamic, inclusive and thriving economy. To the organizers, sponsors, cooperators, nominees, and winners of the 35th Agora Awards, our sincerest congratulations to all of you. The DTI is one with you in promoting the national interest of the marketing industry and advocating the protection of Filipino consumers.

Mabuhay!

A Message from the

PMA President

What a perfect timing and combination to have Agora Award’s 35th Emerald Anniversary with the Diamond Year of the Philippine Marketing Association. Two precious stones shining even brighter with the most brilliant minds and shakers of the marketing industry in 2014!

The Agora continues to provide relevance with the addition of another category, the Marketing Communications Awards recognizing the Marketing Communications Officers who had trailblazing achievements of communications in marketing.

It is indeed an honor and privilege to be recognizing the stars of marketing at the Philippine Marketing Association’s most prestigious Marketing Excellence Awards, The Agora. I go back to the history of Agora Awards when Mr. Guillermo Garcia came up with the brilliant idea of recognizing Marketing Companies and the Practitioners who have made a difference in the industry through marketing innovation and excellence. Now after 35 years, Agora has become the most reputable Marketing Excellence Award built by the consistent integrity, professionalism and thorough review process by the PMA men and women who formed the committees and more importantly, by the most distinguished judges who were Agora Awardees themselves and are also marketing icons in the industry.

When an international bank proposed the peso globalization to President Aquino in Paris, we should be proud of the high regard for the remarkable progress of our country. Global Filipino marketers have already made waves in the international business as proven by Agora’s effort to recognize Filipinos who have become game changers in other countries. On Agora’s 35th anniversary, the Philippine Marketing Association commits to the Filipino Marketer’s globalization through its marketing education programs, networking opportunities as representatives in the Asian Marketing Federation and World Marketing Federation, and the continuity of its premium marketing excellence award, The Agora. We hope that our members and our Agora winners will be inspired to help us fulfill that mission. Congratulations to the 2014 Agora Winners and the Agora Awards Committee… and to

Today, we do not only celebrate the winners of Agora but also wish to hail the Agora Committees, from 1979 to this year, for their untiring efforts and dedication in inspiring the Filipino marketer to become cutting-edge leaders here and abroad. With the opportunities of the Asean Integration, Agora aims to become the beacon of light for each marketing professional to become the drivers in the region and in the world.

God be the glory!

The Agora Winners will no longer just be an icon of admirat ion but will proceed to a higher level of being as we launch Agora Awards Circle tonight. The Agora Circle will become the advocacy for Agora winners to share their knowledge and experience to other marketing professionals and help the Philippine business progress even faster.

A Message from the

Director

Together with my esteemed colleagues at the Philippine Marketing Association, I am filled with pride and excitement as our prestigious organization presents the 35th annual Agora Awards. Far more than being the epitome of excellence in our chosen profession, the Agora pays homage to the PMA’s remarkable heritage, while simultaneously paving the way for its future. Our theme this year is to recognize and uphold the “Jewels of the Marketing Profession”. It is worthwhile to note that the PMA and the Agora Awards itself are celebrating its own jewel milestones, namely a 60-year Diamond Anniversary for the country’s premiere marketing association, and a 35-year Emerald Anniversary for the Agora Awards. Much like a diamond, the PMA has excelled throughout the years due to its clarity of vision and resilience amidst challenges. On the other hand, the Agora Awards can be likened to an emerald, giving vibrancy and sparkle to the entire industry. For now, however, the gems that truly deserve to be acclaimed are this year’s distinguished set of awardees. Each one of them demonstrated innovation, passion, and imagination in carrying out remarkable campaigns. Indeed, they have shown us what it means to be rare and precious in an industry where true talent shines bright. On behalf of the Board of Judges, I join my fellow officers and Board of Directors in congratulating the 2014 Agora Award Winners. You have all contributed greatly to help usher in a new age of marketing brilliance. May God bless us all, as we continue to celebrate our 60th year anniversary. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas, at

Mabuhay ang Philippine Marketing Association!

A Message from the

Chairperson

The Agora Awards, now on its 35th year, has evolved and progressed to what our Asian neighbors consider as the gold standard in marketing awards. Through the years, it has invoked a sense of pride and accomplishment as we have given recognition to most of the illustrious marketing professionals and companies of our beloved country.

The Judging As we have sifted our precious stones, we had to ensure that a gem of the highest appraisal will be selected. We have finally found our jewels as a fruitful result of the skillful and thorough scrutiny of our past Agora Awardees who served as our Panel of Judges. We express our deepest gratitude to such a stellar body of evaluators.

For three decades and a half, we have bestowed awards to the best of the best in the land. Our greatest challenge was to find the finest Jewels in the Marketing Industry. We optimistically took on this challenge, inspired by the unwavering belief of the 35th Agora Committee in a true jewel’s radiance--that it can illuminate amidst the throngs and noise of the marketplace and that a valuable gem can radiate its value through various rays of achievement in innovations, ingenuity and infallible growth driven by years of dedication, inspiration, motivation and commitment.

The Agora Awards is about astounding accomplishments, graciousness amidst challenges, opportunities taken to a higher level, sound responsibility as a professional to its organization and, accountability to its people. The Agora awardees are consistent with their performance and development to propel higher productivity, promote values and professionalism and, to inspire a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility. They are influential practitioners who, as role models in the marketing industry, fuel the growth of the business through their indefatigable marketing practice that is beneficial to individuals, society, and most essentially, the country’s economy.

The Search and Nominations The search and nominations period that transpired during the past several months was an experience similar to mining the most precious gold and jewels. It was a combination of planning and execution, of digging at the right location and a collaboration of vanguards and new experts. It was a practice for us to be able to unearth the genuine, precious stones among all those that came our way. Deliberate appraisal and presentation of the value of each of our Agora awardee is the product of the solid dedication and commitment of the Agora Executive Committee. Thank you very much for sharing your time, effort and resources to this award program of the Philippine Marketing Association.

It is with pride that we are awarding this year’s Agora to the chosen Jewels of the Marketing Industry. May you have more successes and as you are blessed with this award, may you continue to be a blessing to others! Once again, my heartfelt congratulations to the Agora Awardees.

To God be the Glory!

A Message from the

Chairman of the Board of Judges

It was a privilege to chair the 35th year of the Judging Committee of the Agora awards composed of commendable Agora winners themselves among them: Mr. Bernard Liu, Agora Awardee for 2000 Entrepreneur, Large Scale; Mr. Anastacio Martirez, Agora Awardee for 2004 Marketing Management; Mr. Edwin Mapanao, Agora Awardee for 2008 Marketing Management; Ms. Rossana Llenado, Agora awardee for 2007 Entrepreneur-Small Scale. Agora’s 35th year judging experience is analogous to the gemstone emerald --- one of the world’s most beautiful, valuable, rich and intense gemstone. The judging experience, much like the emerald, a 35th year anniversary gemstone was truly rich, intense and involved a great deal of logical, intelligent decision making where the winner who emerged from the process must truly deserve the award based on the criteria set by the Philippine Marketing Association. Otherwise, no winner may be named in a category. To the winners, may your Agora Award be a springboard to more fruitful accolades in the future.

35TH AGORA AWARDS

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The PMA and the Birth of Professional Marketing in the Philippines The PMA and the Birth of Professional Marketing in the Philippines. Prior to the inception of the Philippine Marketing Association, Inc. (PMA) and Marketing as a profession in this country, Marketing is as simple as selling and distributing products through fast talking salesmen and making sales pitches for its products. In 1954, fifteen (15) brave pioneers consolidated their efforts and funds to create and establish the Philippine Marketing Association, Inc. (PMA). This non-stock, non-profit organization formulated and developed a long-term goal, “To promote Marketing as a noble profession and provide high-level standards,” this is to guide and establish Marketing professionals in their respective communities. In its history, PMA was committed to the philosophy that economic and social progress is directly related to the free enterprise system. Such beliefs are embodied in the PMA Credo: “Our country’s economic progress can be best achieved in a climate of free enterprise and business community is valued to economic progress.” Thereby achieving the totality of social well-beings. PMA, an organization firmly grounded on Integrity and Honesty is fully committed to Marketing as a professional enterprise. Hence, its members are expected to greatly contribute to the profession and to the quality of life of the Filipino people.

The Agora Award: The Beginning In the late 1970’s and approaching its Silver Anniversary the organization conceptualized a flagship project that would differentiate the Association by honoring Outstanding Marketing Practitioners and establish Professionalism in the field of Marketing. While within the period of 1979, three (3) key past Presidents, Ernesto G. Roceles, Renato S. Esguerra and Guillermo T. Garcia created the idea of an award giving body that would transform the image of the Marketing Profession. In 1979, PMA President Agustin Bengzon actualized the term “Agora,” legendary known as the site and area of buying and selling within the acropolis in ancient Athens and the precursor of the free enterprise system. Ernie Roceles’ publication of “Agora: The Philippine Journal of Marketing” turned out to be the catalyst, and it was during the Association’s Silver Anniversary year that the First Agora Awards was held. In 1979, the Awards Committee, co-chaired by Willie Garcia and Clarita Ordonez, decided on the three (3) key categories of Marketing Management, Marketing Education and Entrepreneurship and developed the procedural framework that has stood as the model ever since.

The Traditional and Future Promise Since 1979, The Agora Awards were conferred to distinguished individuals and companies who made significant contributions to the Marketing Profession and whose products and services have improved the Filipino’s way of life. Later in 1986, the categories of Export Marketing and Marketing Company of the Year were added. In 1989, the Entrepreneurship Category was segmented into Large Scale, Medium Scale and Small Scale. More recently (1997), the Asia Pacific Agora Awards for Marketing Excellence have given the Awards an International dimension. In 2003, the Advocacy Marketing Category was added. The latter development was a logical outgrowth of PMA becoming a founding member of the Asia Pacific Marketing Federation (APMF) in 1992, along with twelve (12) National Marketing Associations from the region. Significantly, it was during the Centennial Celebration of the Philippines, that the PMA “exported” the Agora Awards to the other member countries of the Asia Pacific Marketing Federation (APMF), who have enthusiastically adopted this Filipino originated award of marketing excellence. In 2014, a new category was created to address the changing media landscape and to recognize individuals in a non-client side of the Marketing Communications area – The Outstanding Achievement in Marketing Communications. Each year, the bar of excellence is raised to new heights thus a continuous tradition of rewarding Filipino Ingenuity and Innovation in the field of Marketing is kept alive. On its 60th year, PMA proudly welcomes this year’s luminaries, The Jewels of the Marketing Profession..

HOLCIM PHILIPPINES, INC.

Holcim, a global company involved in cement manufacturing, attributes its longevity to its adaptability to change and its capability to capture opportunities for growth – all the time ensuring sustainability in all aspects of its operations.

company launched “Holcim ‘galing Mason Training,” a program that initially aims to provide comprehensive training for aspiring masons and “uncertified” masons across the country. What started as a simple masonry training program, ‘ evolved into a multi-skill training for masons on Carpentry, Advanced Masonry and Tile Setting. This capability building program is now producing new masonry trainers, foremen and entrepreneurs.

Ernst Schmidheiny and Adolf Gygi founded Holderbank cement in 1912 as a modern cement manufacturing company in Switzerland. After establishing and strengthening its foothold in that market, the company decided to expand globally in 1962. In 1969, Holcim entered into a partnership with Alsons Cement Corporation in Lugait. Holcim also acquired shares in Union Cement Corporation, which operated plants in La Union, Bulacan and Davao. This led to the creation of Holcim Philippines.

Holcim Philippines works closely with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to ensure that trainees get a TESDA National Certificate (NC I, II or III), an essential requirement for seeking employment in premier construction companies in the Philippines and abroad. Holcim also partners with the Philippine Constructors Association (PCA), the umbrella organization of construction companies in the Philippines to ensure that the trainings provided are in line with the current need of the construction industry. The company also taps the Association of Construction and Informal Workers (ACIW) to partner in the ‘galing Mason Training to guide and look after the welfare of the masons.

Holcim’s vision is to build foundations (literally and figuratively) for the society’s future. Its various initiatives in the field of Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility are anchored on the principles of business empowering its stakeholders – immediate communities, government agencies, nongovernment organizations and other private sector organizations. Building strong relationships with its stakeholders allows Holcim to work side-by-side thought leaders to set new standards and see initiatives impacting our stakeholders.

The program also has a recognition component by way of the ‘galing Mason Awards, a national search for the most outstanding mason in the Philippines.

Sustainability is a critical factor in Holcim’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs . This is exemplified in the ‘galing Mason Program, Holcim’s flagship CSR initiative initiated in 2004.

Because of their admirable capacity building program for a marginalized and underprivileged sector, the Philippine Marketing Association awards the 2014 Agora for Advocacy Marketing to Holcim Philippines. This is first time that an industrial manufacturing company will receive a prestigious marketing award.

Masonry is a key skill in the construction industry. However, most Filipino construction workers acquire this skill through years of actual work experience and without formal training. In 2004, the

The company made its mark in the industry by being the first to offer Logistics Marketing Services (LMS) -- a complete set of logistical solutions to the marketing, advertising and promotions industry. The company now capitalizes on its five strong and dedicated service pillars: Courier, Freight, Logistics, Food Logistics and Logistics Marketing and operates with the same value of service excellence since its inception 15 years ago.

To this very day, Paulo continues to become a champion of his own organization and enable his team at Vcargo Worldwide to become champions in their own respective departments; and through his public speaking engagements, both local and abroad, his journey has continuously inspired more and more people to pursue entrepreneurship not just alternative, but a life-changing commitment. His achievements have earned him notable recognitions from various award-giving bodies.

Born and raised in Bataan, Paulo grew up in an entrepreneurial environment cultivated by his hardworking parents. When he was young, Paulo’s father chose to leave his work abroad as an OFW. His father ventured in a small business selling oil in retail while his mother earned a living as a teacher in their town of Balanga.

In 2005, Paulo was awarded as one of the Top Ten Entrepreneurs by Entrepreneur Philippines and the 2007 Teenpreneur Challenge Winning Mentor of Entrepreneur School of Asia. He is also a finalist for 2008 NOKIA Mobile Entrepreneurs Awards. This year, he holds the honour of being the first recipient of the Young Entrepreneur Award from the ASEAN Business Awards – Philippines. In his native town, Paulo was recognized as one of Balanga’s City “Dangal Balangueño”a recognition for outstanding achievers who made mark in entrepreneurship in 2011 and an 2013 Outstanding Alumni of Bataan National High School.

At an early age, Paulo and his siblings was raised to value entrepreneurship as the family’s means of sustenance, survival, and success. This mind set became one of the strongest foundations of his advocacy to promote entrepreneurship in the country. Paulo worked his way up the ladder of entrepreneurship and success. A graduate of B.S. Airline Business Administration, he was a working student taking on not-sopopular jobs like utility, messenger and delivery man from his freshman year up to his senior year in college.

Early this year, PATTS College Aeronautics named him as an Outstanding Alumni. Paulo is also actively engaged in a number of government and private organizations so that he may able to extend his advocacy and help more Filipino SMEs (Small & Medium Enterprise) by institutionalizing programs and pushing them forward by creating strategic platforms that will enable them to conduct their businesses successfully. From 2009 to 2011, Paulo served as the President of the Association of Filipino Franchisers(AFFI) and Bataan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (BACCII).

He started several enterprises like t-shirt trading, nata de coco production, handmade paper production and laundry business before he was able to strike the proverbial “pot of gold” in the logistics business. At present, he is also engaged in other business enterprises: an energy company and a transport service company. Over the years, his business savvy and constant drive for excellence pave the way for another mission --- To impart his life lessons to other people through professional speaking.

He is currently serving as the Director of the Freeport Area of Bataan, Board of Regent of Bataan Peninsula State University and an honorary member of the Young Entrepreneurs Society (Worldwide). The various accolades and recognition he has received through the years is a testament to how far he has worked to push the entrepreneurial advocacy into new heights in the Philippines.

Instead of keeping the lesson to himself, Paulo chose to impart his knowledge and inspire others to become champion entrepreneurs as a motivational speaker for corporate, local government units and private organizations.

Now more than ever, Paulo Tibig is driven to do more so that the future EntrepChamps can become more.

His entrepreneurial advocacy eventually earned him the monicker, “EntrepChamp.” It evolved into a concept, with CHAMP serving as an acronym aiding him in his teachings. For Paulo, Commitment, Hard work, Attitude, Motivation, and Prayer (C.H.A.M.P) are the

ENTREPRENEURSHIP-SMALL SCALE

DR.MARCOS MARIA VICTORIA JOSE ROSAS, DBE

DE VILLA

PRESIDENT, GIGA NATURAL PRODUCTS SPECIALIST CORP.

In 1999, Peping and Joy de Villa started a home-based enterprise to manufacture and distribute natural soaps. At that time, the natural personal care industry was virtually an unknown business. With multinational consumer goods companies churning out mostly synthetic soaps, shampoos and other cosmetics, venturing into this competitive space by using biodegradable ingredients and natural extracts was a bold move for the two fledgling entrepreneurs.

in Tiendesitas where pet shops abounded allowed GIGA to discover a demand for non-synthetic grooming products for pet dogs and cats, and today, this all-natural pet line is one of its strongest product lines. It is also through the suggestion of a customer that GIGA developed its top-selling product, the Massage Rub Cream. Customers also routinely interact with sales personnel to give feedback on their personal experiences, thus allowing the company to tweak its ingredients or use alternative extracts to ensure product quality and efficacy. Indigenous virgin coconut oil is a major input in most of its products, a raw material that has gained acceptance in the international marketplace.

Fourteen years later, GIGA Enterprises has evolved from its backyard beginnings into a professionally managed corporation, the GIGA Natural Products Specialist Corporation, with a distribution network of over 12 mall-based outlets. GIGA is now marketing a full range of natural products with over 80 different variants of soaps, oils, balms, sprays and other personal care items, using formulae developed by an in-house chemist, and approved by the Food and Drug Administration. From gross revenues of P527,000 during its initial year of operation, the company generated P21 million of sales in 2013, and is poised to grow by an average annual rate of 20% going forward. Its revenues grew 10 times since 2005. Orders from foreign customers, while still a small portion of its revenues, have poured in from export markets, and the company has supplied to buyers in Cambodia, Singapore, Hongkong, Kuwait, Dubai and the United States.

Giga’s introduction of high quality, locally produced products have made them affordable thus contributing greatly to the growth of this sector. Today, natural and organic is an accepted, desired and even essential element in many businesses – food, beverage, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. GIGA is at the forefront of this consumer movement before it became fashionable, and today ranks alongside many other entrepreneurs in a market that has challenged synthetic and chemical ingredients in consumer goods. Already an ASEAN-compliant enterprise, the company continues to play an important role as a manufacturer and distributor of “natural products that work”. As it continues to innovate natural personal care products of exceptional quality, GIGA lives out is vision of acting with integrity in all their endeavours thus giving glory to God. GIGA after all stands for GOD IS GOOD! ALWAYS!

GIGA’s business infrastructure is a model of simplicity and efficiency. Distributing its products through its own or its franchised retail shops entrenched in shopping malls, it has the advantage of directly interacting with end-users who provide valuable feedback that enables it to adapt to market needs. For example, the outlet based

AURELIO “LITO” DR. MARIA VICTORIA DBE III S.ROSAS, GERMAN REGIONAL DIRECTOR, BMW MOTORRAD BMW GROUP ASIA

Take for example ‘The BMW Switch’ –upselling campaign for car accessories that involved ‘carnapping’ their customers’ vehicles. Or ‘The BMW xDrive Island’ – where the company took over an uninhabited island and transformed it into a virtual playground for their off-road models. And no one can deny the boldness and savvy of ‘The BMW World’ – the largest single brand automotive showcase in Asia, held in 2010 and 2014.

Aurelio ‘Lito’ German III’s extensive work in the field of Marketing and Communications has proven one basic fact: Vision, Passion and Action can change an entire industry.

Unsurprisingly, Lito German’s peculiar but highly effective marketing ideas have impacted in past endeavors for numerous brands in the region As the Senior Vice President of Agents International from 1996 to 2003, Lito has successfully marketed a wide array of products: from life insurance to fashion accessories, from pharmaceuticals to soft drinks.

Consider here the impact that German has made in the premium automotive market: As the Director for Marketing and Corporate Communications in BMW Philippines in 2003, he introduced exciting new concepts in customer engagement that remain benchmarks in the industry. In recognition of his stellar performance, he was appointed as the Regional Marketing Director of BMW Asia in 2009 with one clear goal: to recapture market leadership in Singapore, which BMW lost to its rival in 2006.

His stellar background in political PR in the Philippines, combined with his wide industry experience, has also given German a strong and reliable network across the social landscape– from top business to the highest levels of public office, from social circles to grassroots organizations.

Barely a year later, after spearheading a massive organizational change, and initiating continuous brand building activities which were noticed in other markets, BMW stood as the number one luxury car brand in Singapore.

As the recently appointed Regional Director for BMW Motorrad in Asia, he is definitely set to change the premium motorcycle industry in the region. And without a doubt, we’ll all be in for a great ride.

But achieving segment leadership alone was not enough. Under his marketing guidance, BMW made history soon by becoming the number one selling car brand in Singapore. Lito contributed to this success with his bold and somewhat quirky ideas, tempered by pinpoint precision in execution.

For his exceptional work in marketing across a multicultural landscape, Aurelio German III is awarded the Agora for Overseas Marketing Excellence by the Philippine Marketing Association on October 21,2014.

Juice Drinks and the Swift Meat brand (which he eventually bought upon moving to Century Pacific).

Greg Banzon , as Vice President and General Manager of Century Pacific Food, Inc. is in charge of this highly successful company’s Global Branding and the Domestic Tuna Business.

Banzon was the youngest ever to be appointed Managing Director and VP Marketing for ASEAN at Johnson & Johnson where he worked for 10 years. He was only 35 years old when appointed MD of J&J Indonesia and con-current ASEAN VP Marketing in 2000 in recognition of his success in turning around the Modess and Carefree Feminine care brands in the Philippines and in Asia Pacific. Greg turned around J&J’s Indonesia business that was reeling from the Financial Crisis and achieved a +23% CAGR for 4 years by rejuvenating the Johnson’s Baby equity in the market and growing J&J’s skin care business.

He is credited for taking the brands of Century Pacific overseas; managing the recent successful launch of Argentina canned meats in the USA and the fast rise of Century Tuna as a major player in the Middle East where it is now a strong No. 3 brand, the USA and 46 other countries. Both Century and Argentina are now carried by international retailers such as Walmart, Safeway, Carrefour, Kroger, Giant and Albertsons and are making strong gains against global giants.

Being a close relative and friend to Dr. Vicki Belo, Greg also led the launch of Belo Essentials which became a major player in the skin care category in just one year and continues to be successful to this day.

On the domestic front, Banzon led the roll -out of iconic lifestyledriven marketing campaigns for Century Tuna such as “Century Tuna Superbods”, the “No Other Tuna” campaign featuring Anne Curtis and the “Kita Sa Katawan, Diba?” campaign highlighting Derek Ramsey. Aside from the Century brand, he has shown his versatility in marketing by addressing a cross-section of income segments where the company maintains a strong portfolio of brands such as 555, Blue Bay and Fresca. Equally notable is his team’s active use of new media to promote their brands. The recent Century Superbod campaign generated 164 twitter impressions while the brand’s Facebook page has over 600,000 likes.

Greg is known as an “Executive Athlete” being a notable triathlete and runner in his age group. He has competed in 4 full Ironman events, 6 Ironman 70.3’s and over 40 triathlons and for the past 6 years has managed to finish in the top 3% to 5% of the field in races. Banzon is also a faculty member of the Ateneo Graduate School of Business – Center of Continuing Education handling classes for the Marketing Diploma Program.

His skill in corporate communications and institutional branding was put to the test when tapped to handle the marketing and communications aspect of Century Pacific’s Public Listing last May. The company’s IPO is one of the most successful this year.

He is a product of De La Salle University and majored in Marketing Management.

Prior to Century Pacific, Banzon’s other notable achievement include the dramatic turnaround of RFM’s Branded Food Group via the market resurgence of the company’s milk brand, Selecta Fiesta Pasta, Sunkist
