About me: I come from Bari, a beautiful seaside town in southern Italy; I’m a funny guy, curious, creative, but also meticulous; I love to learn and collect experience. In the work I am precise, I aim to do the best and finish projects that I start; I’m able to do a complete project from concept to technical drawing. I love sports, nature and especially the sea.

KELMON & WINGHY Practice on University
2012 ONE YEAR PROJECT
Kelmon and Winghy are two projects, designed during the first year of the master degree. The practice was subdivided into two projects: the first Kelmon gave the basis for designed Winghy, at the end of the practice, Winghy boat was constructed.

CONCEPT
In Italy the universities of Yacht Design have formed a sports club named in 1001 Sails, with the aim of promoting university regattas with boats built by students. There is a rating rule called Class R3, and teams must submit a boat built by students.
After careful analysis it quickly became apparent that a successful project w the optimization of the weight and maneuverability. Weight optimization is stu two skiffs among the winners of the previous editions; while for the study of m are chosen to optimize the maneuvers deck and other components.

WHINGY BRIEF During the designing of Kelmon, the Commision of R3 Class changed the rules, giving the possibility to test new types of skiff.

BASE INFORMATIONS The board is in sandwich of lino fiber and polystyrene; the structures are made in marine plywood. While the wing is composite by ribs in sandwich of Balsa wood with carbon fiber and aluminum frame.
WHINGY CONSTRUCTION The construction of Winghy dured three months with a team of four person, teacher incluse; all transactions were made by us students. Te lamination of the hull was made in infusion bag vacuum with epoxy resin.
EXHIBITION
The prototype was exhibited at the 52째 Genoa international Boat Show.
RACER 999 HURRICANE 445 C EGO 6.50
2013 ONE YEAR COLLABORATION
RACER 999, HURRICANE 445 C and EGO 6.50 are three of five projects designed during one year in collaboration with Skyron Labdesign. During this year we designed complete sailing boats, incluse calculation of structures and technical drawings.
RACER 999 BRIEF The RACER 999 is a boat designed for offshore regatta, navigating with high performances in all conditions. The dimension of 10 meters give to the people the possibility to enjoy the regatta with a boat not so much expensive.

In the interiors there is just the essential for living confortable during the regatta.

RACER 999 EXTERIOR The sail plain is plentiful with a big square top; daggerboards and kanting keel permett to reach high performances.
HURRICANE 445 C EXTERIOR
HURRICANE 445 C INTERIOR The interior has been designed according to the specific requests of the customer, thus realizing a large dinette with navigation desk and kitchen.
At the bow there is the owner cabin with bath and separate shower to offer maximum comfort. Aft instead another bathroom and a cabin with a double bed.
EGO 6.50 BRIEF Ego 6.50 was designed at the specific request of a shipyard and an Italian market that has long time not launch a mini 6.50 all Italian.
CONCEPT
The boat is designed to participate in the championship “Classe Mini Italia“and olso the international championship “Mini Transat”, thus following the rules of the Mini Class 6.50 Series.

GOZZO SORRENTINO - RESTORATION GENERAL PLANES
The Gozzo is a typical mediterranean wooden boat lenght about 12 meters with latin rigged of the eighties and nineties centuries. This boat was used to fishing, but also to transport and used as a daysailer.

The interior is divided into two areas, the first area connects the cockpit, dinette and kitchen, the second consists of chart, cabin with double bed and bath.

The gozzo has an innovative latin rigging; mast, antenna and bowsprit are made from carbon. The mainsail is covered with photovoltaic panels “konarka’s power plastic”; the film is thin and modulable.

Modulor 1.0 is a trimaran with facilited driving system. A boat for a young family for fast and comfortable cruising as well as pleasant holidays in mediterranean ports. It receaved a special mention in the contest of yacht design “MYDA Award 2015”.
MODULOR 1.0 - EASY CRUISER TRIMARAN BRIEF I always wondered if exist a sailing boat, capable of having a good cruising speed and then allow you to move in more than one port even during the day like a motor boat?
INSPIRATION
Taking the technologies used in Coppa America regatta, both the comfortable and stability of the trimaran to create a new type of cruising sail boat.
MODULOR 1.0 - EASY CRUISER TRIMARAN PRIZEGIVING I was awarded a special mention to the MYDA Award 2015 during the Seatec exhibition of products and technologies for boating.

MODULOR 1.0 - EASY CRUISER TRIMARAN EXTERIOR Modulor 1.0 have a double sail plane for leaving free views during driving. The three foils give a big stability during gliding.

MODULOR 1.0 - EASY CRUISER TRIMARAN GENERAL PLANES Lenght 10 meters and large 6 meters, both 50 square meters of sail, Modulor 1.0 have good dimensions for to be manageable from a little family. The hulls are designed to glide easily even at low speed.

MODULOR 1.0 - EASY CRUISER TRIMARAN INTERIOR The interiors have convertible solutions which together with the bathroom and the kitchen make the boat livable comfortably for three persons. The dinette converts, could get four different solutions: lunch, bed, relax and navigation.

SIX MONTHS PROJECT
EARTH It’s a Thesis project of Master Deegree developed in collaboration with the shipyard Picchiotti, for which I won the award “Leonardo Italian Quality Committe 2013”.
EARTH BRIEF The theme of the competition requires a esthetic, ergonomic and functional solutions, along with a hybrid propulsion system for motor yachts of 55 m, based on the general plans of the Picchiotti Galileo 55.

INSPIRATION
The interior are inspired by eco-friendly architecture and outdoor style. Linear design, outdoor style, cool colors, natural and eco-friendly materials are the foundation of this project however still show the Picchiotti style.
EARTH PRIZEGIVING The award ceremony took place within the halls of the Quirinale, the award was presented by the President of Italian Repubblic in person.
During the day we had the opportunity to meet some of the greatest Italian businessmen, to whom we presented the winning projects.
EARTH SKETCH During development of the project, the sketches have taken much of the time in order to achieve an elegant and timeless.
EARTH first concept sketch After a careful study of shapes, surfaces and volumes was extrapolated the first concept of the exterior.
The doubts were just on the post of the superstructure: sporty line or classic line.

EARTH GENERAL PLANES The styles is interpreted very carefully; the very sharp lines and clearly regain the character of the previous models of the Picchiotti shipyard. The aggressive and stylish design gives a pleasure looks timeless.
