About us -AIESEC in RMIT Our project - Hello Vietnam Project What we can support The story behind Contact us

Xin chao! AIESEC in RMIT Greetings from Vietnam! Thanks for reading our project's booklet! We are all RMIT AIESECers who always hope that all you guys will fulfill your volunteer journey. Best luck to you! Â

About us AIESEC in RMIT Founded in 2009, AIESEC in RMIT is located in Ho Chi Minh City with more than 80 members this term. Proudly, AIESEC in RMIT is the only international university based Local Chapter of Vietnam.

We are full of members who wisely work and wildly play. We work super-hard in a professional and high-qualified environment. What we have done in 2016 turns out two prestigious prizes, which are heroic efforts of all AIESEC RMIT members.

We are... A Happy Family!

Hello Vietnam Project Run by only AIESEC in RMIT since 2016, it aims to bring a new vision of the world to the poor children in remote areas. We believe that " Equality Education " is the best way to help poor children improve their life in the future, which is why this project was established.Â

Through lessons delivered by international volunteers, we hope that it will help children:

33%

Self-develop Improve English skills Gain culture knowledge

Hello Vietnam Project There are two main activities in this project, including: A 6-week English course taught by international volunteers. An event named " Fly with your youth " on 5th August to inspire the young generation in Can Tho to step out of "comfort zone", lead their life and enjoy their youth.

To teach more effectively you should know what to do... Build contents based on 4 topics: Family & Friend, Environment, Culture and Dreams. Teach children creatively and passionately. Promote and organize an event "Fly with your youth with 200 attendees. Join AIESEC activities

Our Expectation Through this 6-week project we expect that international volunteers can gain practical experience as much as possible, such as  improving your soft skills, teamwork skills, and importantly impacting to the community and inspiring others. Besides, we hope that when living with local residents, you can understand more about Vietnamese culture (food, language, architecture, ...)

CHILDREN really need YOU!!!

My old leader, Minh Nguyen, was the father of this project. When coming back to Vietnam after a volunteer journey in Indonesia, he really wanted to make a project taking international volunteers to remote areas in Vietnam. He started everything from zero, even Hello VN Project was just an idea. After running it in a remote district in Ho Chi Minh for several months, our team decided to take this project to a truly remote province. I wish you could image how hard it is to do, and now I am so proud of my team to say that "Our dream comes true!" IVY TRAN - PRESIDENT OF HELLO VN PROJECT
