What is Documentary Style Weddings? A Documentary wedding photographer is often referred to as “reportage wedding photographer” or “wedding photojournalist” however essentially, they all refer to the same thing - an observational approach to photographing a wedding. Simply put, I photograph the most important day of your life, with as little involvement in the proceedings of the day, allowing you to enjoy your day with your family and friends.
It’s all in the detail……There will be lots of special touches that reflect your individual personalities and experiences which you will want captured, that add the detail to your story. You will have taken time to choose the flowers, shoes, table settings and as a documentary wedding photographer I’m there to tell your story through beautiful images finding ways to incorporate those little details within your wedding photographs.

The coverage of your special day, starts when you start getting ready, from the time the Hair & Makeup Artists begin styling you and your Bridesmaids. This give me the opportunity to capture the details, your dress, the rings, the shoes and also to start documenting your day. I will also spend some time with your Partner or the Groom and capture details around them getting ready. Before you head off to the church or registery, we will capture some bridal portraits with you and your bridesmaids.

A varitety of portraits to capture and showcase how incredible you look and feel. This can be in your home, in your room at the Hotel or out on Location. Even if you are running late (which is part of the tradition) be sure to factor in some time to capture Bridal Portraits, you alone, as well as with your Bridesmaids.
