Precast Lift Core and Stair core In any large construction site, especially the high rise structures, the most difficult part of the works are Lift shafts and Staircase shafts. In order to achieve precision, we need to have good scaffolding systems to maintain the verticality. Further concreting the walls at site is also a challenge in terms of flowing of concrete in the thin wall segments, keeping the reinforcement. Also safety of workers is a concern and proper platforms have to be made for handling the formwork, a proper staging for all the workmen to stand and work. We at VME Precast, have carefully studied all the challenges in conventional construction and come up with a total precast concrete modular solution for the lift core shafts and the stair case shafts. We have analysed various sizes of the shafts (single, double and triple shafts) based on the lift manufacturers sizes and come up with a flexible system of accommodating customers requirements.
