“…there is human life at every stage of human development” Dr. Alfred M. Bongioanni, professors of obstetrics at the University of Pennsylvania stated, “I have learned from my earliest medical education the human life begins at the time of conception…human life is present throughout this entire sequence from conception to adulthood…any interruption at any point throughout this time constitutes a termination of human life.” Kathmandu, 7 May, 2011. VOF Nepal acted upon the value of a human life among the woman workers of SIT carpet factory in Kapan, Kathmandu. Soman Elisha presented the prolife teaching and DVDs among them. All of them were shocked by the teaching. They accepted the teaching with great excitement. Padam lama the secretary of the local workers association of SIT carpet factory and some key leaders of the local women group were also participated. All of them admitted the effectiveness of the program.
Strengthening the value of a human life in children: Children are also a human being. On the occasion of International Children Day, 2011 VOF Nepal confirmed the value of children in society and Nation by covering the bodies of children in a slum with clothes. Kathmandu, June 4, 2011, VOF Nepal took an opportunity to share the prayer point regarding the unborn babies in risk in the Global prayer Day for the children in risk. VOF presented a six minute DVD too. More than 350 people prayed together with tears. The Prayer Day was happen by the 12 different organizations called 4-14 Forum Nepal. VOF is one of them.
