As a loving parent, it is very important to try to focus on what is best for your child and for yourself. Sometimes choosing adoption is being a good mother. On 7th February, 2014, I got a phone call from a Pastor talking about a mother admitted in a maternity hospital and looking for help. So, we went there and visited her and her husband and newly born baby girl. After a long talking with them we came to know that they already have four children and the one newly born is fifth. They even admitted that they do not have enough income to raise them and had plan to abort the baby but one of the Pastors counseled them to not. We also encouraged them to raise the baby and gave more time to rethink, but they chose adoption for their baby. I think, they are the right person to choose what is best for their baby. So, we went with their decision and informed a couple struggling with infertility for

As we have an annual plan to conduct 3 volunteer trainings in 2014, we conducted a volunteer training among 25 collage students on 31st Jan. 2014 in the hall of Jeewan Mission Club (JMC) at Jawalakhel, Lalitpur. The theme of the training was ‘Therefore Choose Life’ and objectives were to aware them about the harsh truth of abortion and their responsibilities to stop it. The training went with great excitements, lots of tears, emotion, genuine convictions, repentances, and commitments. All the young people expressed their passion to be an active volunteer for Voice of Fetus, Nepal (VOF). Many of them gave wonderful feedbacks.
C h u r c h l e a r n i n g t o s a y ‘ N o ’ t o ab o r t i o n . This is our dream that every church in Nepal should say, ‘No’ to abortion. So, with whole heart and seriousness, we are working with the churches in Nepal. As much as possible we want to serve the churches in Nepal and equip them to involve in Pro-life ministries. On 19th February, 2014 we had an opportunity to present the teaching on the reality of abortion and the response of church at Gethsemane Church, Sano Thimi Bhaktapur. Many church members admitted their wrong deeds in their innocence and asked for prayer. We would like to say thank you to the leaders who organized the program and for providing us the platform to present the teaching.
12 year after the marriage; and waiting to welcome a baby girl in their life. Finally, the couple welcomed the baby girl in their family with great joy. So, sometimes choosing adoption is being a good mother.

Abortion has completely failed as social policy designed to aid women. Countless of women who have been damaged by abortions have said, “ I had no idea this could happen to me; no one warned me about the risks of it.” So, VOF, Nepal presented teaching and training on abortion to 10 women leaders from different parts of Nepal in Women Leadership Training Center-WLTC at Kathmandu on 27th Feb. 2014. They were taught about the fetal development, procedures of abortion and its complications. They were also trained how to teach others and help the ladies in crisis pregnancy in their locality. They were given ’Life bags’ contained of DVD, leader’s guide, brochures (supported by GI) for the use of their ministry in church and communities. Thank you WLTC team.

All these works were possible by the approval and financial support from Gabriel International (GI). Let these printing materials be an eye opener to many in lies.
Good news Finally, we made an agreement with 10\40 Connections to translate, print and conduct the training on ‘Voice for the Voiceless’ curriculum among the women in Nepal.
