Prayers for the Sons of The King

Pray with us as we intercede for our fathers, our husbands, our sons, and our brothers!

When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money and said, 'Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.'

Acts 8:18-19

God, show your sons who they are in you. You have made each and every one of them unique in their own right. You have molded them by your mighty hands to be special, different, distinct, and incomparable to another. Remind them that their gifts are not for sale and are not negotiable. Teach them to rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to guide them, strengthen them and develop them in their walk and callings.

God, you have not called the sons of this generation to feel inadequate, incomplete, or incompetent. Yet you have anointed and esteemed them to be husbands, fathers, businessmen, entrepreneurs, and kingdom disciples. Use them, Father, in their respective roles to breed change in their homes and communities.

God, sharpen them that they may preach and teach your word without apology or division, and show them that they are more than enough through Christ Jesus. The gifts cannot be purchased, bargained for, or traded in as they are divinely given spiritual gifts for serving you and the body. Thank you for renewing their mindsets to the things of the kingdom and that you bring honor and glory in Jesus’ name.
