The Strong And Beautiful Woman

SHE IS CLOTHED WITH STRENGTH AND DIGNITY, AND SHE LAUGHS WITHOUT FEAR OF THE FUTURE. (PROVERBS 31:25 NLT)

For a woman of God to be clothed with strength and dignity, she must have high self-esteem. As a God-fearing woman, she should recognize her value in the kingdom of God.

A woman of this caliber is not easily manipulated; she knows who she is in Christ and will not quickly fall into the traps of this world. She values and honors herself, which has nothing to do with her financial status but everything to do with her status as a princess of the one true high King.

For us as women of God, the ability to withstand adversity comes from gaining instruction from the Word of God daily. We need to be able to take on various levels of attack with strength and dignity and move as God provides a way of escape. No matter how often the enemy tries to attack our self-esteem, God will replenish us, calling us virtuous women.

As some women flounder in a sea of distress, bound in shackles of lies, a weakness arises. When any resistance comes to knock them down, they grieve. Pain pushes them away from the presence of God. And then the God-fearing woman that Proverbs 31:25 tells us of disappears. God never asks us to carry the weight of the world on our own shoulders. He promises to carry it for us. All we have to do is let Him. He is our strength.

God has sorted through your afflictions and offers His companionship through every hardship you encounter. He clothes you in dignity and strength, and He is not finished with you or the situation at hand. Step out of the wailing ways of your mind and dress yourself today with God’s presence, His will, and His powers. As you separate yourself from the anguish the world intends you to carry, God’s dominion in your life will give you the strength and dignity you need to be the woman He has called you to be.

God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth gives way, and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging (Psalm 46:1-3 NIV).

God’s infinite love for you will give you an intimacy with Him far greater than you’ve ever expected, dreamed, or asked for. Allow His endless love to cover and clothe you in His beauty of strength and dignity. You are a gorgeous vessel of extraordinary proportions whom God is pulling together. He is turning you into His greatness, His masterpiece beauty, step by step and day by day, as He empowers your life with HIS purpose.
