Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Benildus Avenue, Sandyford

St. Benildus College has requested the temporary closure of Benildus Avenue, Sandyford. The closure is to be from 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. on Friday 17th May, 2019. The purpose of the proposed closure is to facilitate Rás Benildus. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and all diversions will be signposted. Diversion of traffic will be via Drummartin Link Road, Blackthorn Drive and Blackthorn Avenue and vice versa. Emergency access can be provided, if required, during the period of the Road Closure. Any interested party may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire not later than noon on: Friday 3rd May, 2019 or e-mail info@dlrcoco.ie

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Red Bull Cliff Diving, Dún Laoghaire Temporary Closure of Queen’s Road and Park Road Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council are proposing to temporarily close Queen’s Road and Park Road, Dún Laoghaire on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May, 2019 between 4pm and 9pm in order to facilitate the Red Bull Cliff Diving Event 2019 in the harbour. Queen’s Road will be closed from the junction with Marine Road to the junction with Park Road and Park Road will be closed from its junction with George's Street Upper to Queen’s Road. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and diversions will be signposted. Any interested parties may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire or email info@dlrcoco.ie not later than noon on: Thursday 25th April, 2019.

ROAD CLOSURES

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Glenamuck Road South Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close Glenamuck Road South, Kilternan. The closure is to be from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. from Monday 15th April, 2019 to Sunday 28th April, 2019. The purpose of the closure is to allow for the installation of a new watermain along Glenamuck Road South, from the junction of the Enniskerry Road to the Rockville Residential Development. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and diversion routes clearly signposted. Diversion of traffic will be via Ballyogan Road, Kilgobbin Road and Enniskerry Road and vice versa. Local access, during the temporary closure will be via the M50 Motorway direction and access for emergency services will be provided at all times, if required.

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Victoria Road, Dalkey Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close Victoria Road, Dalkey between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. from Monday 15th April, 2019 to Friday 19th April, 2019 from the junction of Coliemore Road to the junction of Sorrento Road. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate the laying of a domestic gas service. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Shanganagh Road, Shankill Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close Shanganagh Road, Shankill from Shanganagh Wood to Common’s Road between the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. from 22nd April, 2019 to 26th April, 2019 inclusive, in order to facilitate road patching works on Shanganagh Road by the Roads Maintenance Section, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained.

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Killiney Avenue, Killiney Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close Killiney Avenue from Church Road to Killiney Heath between the hours of 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. from Monday 15th April, 2019 to Friday 19th April, 2019. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate Road patching works at Killiney Avenue by the Roads Maintenance Section. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

The installation of 2No RS115 retention sockets at the pedestrian crossing on Wyattville Road at the junction with Church Road/Killiney Avenue will commence on Monday, 15th April 2019 until Tuesday, 16th April 2019 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Killiney Avenue - Road Reconstruction / Road Closure **

Road reconstruction at Killiney Avenue (working hours 10:00 until 16:00) on Thursday, 18th April 2019. A road closure and diversion route will be in place via Killiney Hill Road - Military Road Church Road to facilitate the works. Local access will be maintained.

Site investigation works will continue until Friday, 26th April 2019 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Wheelchair dishing will commence on Monday, 15th April 2019 until Friday, 19th April 2019 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Clonskeagh Road *** from Leinster Lawn to Whitethorn Road Upgrade of pedestrian and cycling facilities along Clonskeagh Road will commence on Monday, 4th March 2019. Permanent Traffic Management will be in place until end of June 2019 with lane closures between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. on weekdays.

Lower Kilmacud Road *** at the junctions of South Avenue and Upper Kilmacud Road Upgrade of existing junctions commenced on Monday, 3rd September 2018. Scheme is substantially completed but on-going snagging and landscaping works will continue over the next few weeks. A Traffic Management System will be in place.

N11 Cabinteely (closure of bus lane – north bound carriageway only) *** Works will commence on Tuesday, 26th February 2019 to construct a new signalized junction and construction of 135 m of new Druid’s Glen Road until autumn 2019. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Killiney Hill Road – at the Martello Tower, Killiney ** Drainage works will continue until Friday, 19th April 2019 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

N11 – Outbound Carrigeway - Stillorgan Park Avenue Junction to Mount ** Mount Merrion Junction. Upgrading of public lighting columns and lanterns will commence on Monday, 8th April 2019 until Friday, 16th August 2019 (intermittent). Working hours 10:00 – 16:00 and 19:30 – Midnight (if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works. Page 6 of 8


N11 – Inbound Carriageway between – Junction Kilmacud Road Lower and Mount Merrion Junction ** Upgrading of public lighting columns and lanterns will commence on Monday, 8th April 2019 until Friday, 16th August 2019 (intermittent). Working hours 10:00 – 16:00 and 19:30 – Midnight (if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works ** Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on: 1. Glenageary Road Lower 2. Deansgrange Road 3. Blackthorn Drive 4. Brewery Road. 5. Clonskeagh Road 6. Leopardstown Road 7. Glenageary Road upper 8. York Road, 9. Brennanstown Road. 10. Sandyford Business Park. These works will continue until Friday, 30th August 2019. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.

Working hours 10:00 – 16:00 and 19:30 – Midnight (if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Windsor Terrace – Dún Laoghaire Baths Redevelopment ** Construction commenced on the redevelopment of the Baths site on Monday, 23rd April 2018. Construction is programmed to be completed by Q1 2020. During March, pier construction and the internal construction of the building will continue. The retaining works to Queen’s Road will be completed and construction on a new sea wall will commence. There should be no Traffic Management restrictions on Windsor Terrace with the exception of the delivery of materials, which will be short term and between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. Monday – Friday.
