ROAD CLOSURES

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Station Road, Glenageary Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from Robert Doyle Eco Build Ltd. to temporarily close Station Road, Glenageary from its junction with Marlborough Road to its junction with Adelaide Road to through traffic from Monday, 23rd November 2015 to Friday, 27th November 2015 - both dates inclusive. Local Access to the Dart Station will be maintained at all times. The purpose of the closure is to install a new sewer connection and water connection for a new house being built. The proposed diversion route will be signposted. Details of the diversion routes will be available on our website: www.dlrcoco.ie A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of these works. Any interested parties may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire not later than noon on Monday 16th November, 2015 or email traffic@dlrcoco.ie

Dundrum Road Pedestrian Crossing and Associated Footpath Works ***

Construction work will take place on a new pedestrian crossing and associated footpath works on Dundrum Road, beside St. Luke’s Crescent will commence on Monday, 16th November until Friday, 27th November 2015 from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Albany House, Shanganagh Road (near Ballybrack Village) **

Works will take place on Shanganagh Road to reinstate the road for the previously placed surface water drainage from Albany House to a surface water outfall. Works will commence on Monday, 16th November until Friday, 20th November 2015 from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Leopardstown Road – R113 *** Leopardstown Link Road and Roundabout Reconfiguration Scheme

Leopardstown Link Road OPENED to traffic on Wednesday, 22nd July 2015, providing a new access to South County Business Park, Leopardstown Race Course and Leopardstown Park Hospital. Works now progressing on Brewery Road, the Roundabout, Burton Hall Road and Leopardstown Road as part of the signalisation of the roundabout. The configuration of the roundabout is adjusted locally to enable service installations. Drivers are requested to proceed with caution through the roundabout. Pedestrian crossing position adjusted on Brewery Road – Signage in Place. Leopardstown Roundabout will be reduced to a single circulating lane from 7:30pm on both Wednesday, 18th and Thursday, 19th November 2015. All approaches and exits will, by necessity, also be reduced a single entry lane. Localised Traffic Management will be in place, inclusive of lane closures, lane adjustments and Stop / Go as required. Expected completion date of entire scheme – 2nd Quarter 2016

Trial hole works (2 in number) will continue until Friday, 20th November 2015 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Carrickbrennan Road, Monkstown ***

Trial hole works (2 in number) will continue until Friday, 20th November 2015 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Crofton Road, DĂşn Laoghaire (at Bus Terminus) *** (Night works)

Trial holes works (2 in number) will continue until Friday, 20th November 2015 between 12:00 midnight and 06:00 a.m. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Corbawn Lane and Shanganagh Road (part of) ***

Footpath Restoration works on Corbawn Lane will continue to be progressed from its Junction with Eaton Wood Avenue to the Irish Rail Bridge to Friday, 20th November 2015 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Shuttle System will be in place.

N11 Stillorgan Dual Carriageway ** (Night works)

Survey work will continue until Friday, 20th November 2015 between 22:00 and 06:00 hrs. N11 outbound from ColĂĄiste Eoin to Priory Avenue and Kill Lane to opposite Westminster Road junction, to N11 inbound from Old Dublin Road to Trees Road and Westminster Road to opposite Kill Lane. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

N11 - Public Lighting Upgrade Works **

Public lighting upgrade works will commence on Monday, 16th November 2015 until Friday, 4th March 2016 (intermittently) on N11, inbound lane between Trees Road Junction and Fosters Avenue Junction between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. and between 19:30 and 23:30 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Goatstown Road / Roebuck Road Junction, Goatstown **

Drainage and reinstatement works will continue on Goatstown Road between the junction of Roebuck Road and Larchfield Road until Friday, 27th November 2015 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Blackrock Main Street (outside Bank of Ireland) **

Footpath improvement works will continue on Blackrock Main Street (outside the Bank of Ireland) until Friday, 20th November 2015 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

St. Thomas’s Road, Mount Merrion **

Footpath reconstruction works will continue until Friday, 27th November 2015 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works **

Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Ballinteer Avenue Dublin Road Shanganagh Road Killiney Hill Road Crofton Road

These works will continue until Friday, 27th November 2015. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.

Ballinteer Road, Ballinteer ** The Ballinteer Road Traffic Safety Improvement scheme began on site on Monday, 24th August 2015 and will last approximately three months. Works will take place on Ballinteer Road between the Sandyford Green Route and the junction of Ballinteer Road / Ballinteer Avenue. Stop / Go Traffic Management will be in place at junction with College Park intermittently between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Glenageary Road Lower /Holmston Avenue *** KN Network Services will be carrying out works on Glenageary Road Lower adjacent to Holmston Avenue to install a signalised pedestrian crossing. Works commenced on Monday, 2nd November 2015 for a period of four weeks between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
