PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURES
Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Killiney Hill Road Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from the Richard Nolan Civil Engineering Ltd to temporarily close Killiney Hill Road to through traffic from Monday 14th March, 2016 to Friday 1st April, 2016. The purpose of the closure is to carry out trenching and ducting works on behalf of the ESB to bring power to a new housing development. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted. Any interested parties may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire not later than noon on Monday 29th February, 2016 or email traffic@dlrcoco.ie

Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Enniskerry Road, Stepaside Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from the Stepaside Business Association for the temporary closure of a section of Enniskerry Road, from the junction with Burrow Road Southwards through Stepaside Village to the junction with Glenamuck Road South from 12 noon to 17:00 hrs. on - Thursday, 17th March 2016. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate a St. Patrick’s Day Parade and associated events in Stepaside Village. Diversion of traffic will be via Hillcrest Road, Kilgobbin Road, Ballyogan Road and Glenamuck Road South and vice versa. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted. Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Bath Place and Main Street, Blackrock Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from Blackrock Business Network to temporarily close Bath Place and Main Street, Blackrock to through traffic on Thursday, 17th March 2016 from 12 noon to 2.30 p.m. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate St. Patrick’s Day festivities for the local community including a road race. The proposed diversion route will be signposted and details of the plan will be available on our website www.dlrcoco.ie. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted.
ROADWORKS / LANE RESTRICTIONS
Leopardstown Road – R113 *** Leopardstown Link Road and Roundabout Reconfiguration Scheme A signalised junction came into operation at the Brewery Road Leopardstown Road junction on Tuesday, 2nd January 2016. The right turns from Leopardstown Road East (from N11) onto Brewery Road and from Burton Hall Road onto Leopardstown Road West (towards the M50) are banned. For a short period following the switch-over, to facilitate on-going construction works, there is no left turn from Leopardstown Road West (M50) onto Burton Hall Road.

Traffic coming from the M50 can access Sandyford Business District by turning left onto Burton Hall Link Road. There are temporary arrangements in place for pedestrians and cyclists until the construction works are fully completed in early March 2016.

Ground investigation / slit trenches will be undertaken during the week commencing Monday, 29th February ending Friday, 4th March 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Minor gully repair works will be undertaken during the week commencing Monday, 29th February ending Friday, 4th March 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Minor gully repair works will be undertaken during the week commencing Monday, 29th February ending Friday, 4th March 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation. 2 No. pay and display bays will be disrupted for the duration of the works.

Eaton Brae (Shankill) **
Road restoration works will continue until the Friday, 18th March 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Avondale Lawn and Avondale Court **
Footpath and road restoration works will continue until Friday, 18th March 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
Claremont Road, Cabinteely ** The ESB are planning on replacing a number of poles along this road commencing Monday, 22nd February ending Saturday, 27th February 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Stop/Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation. Page 3 of 4
Frascati Road, Blackrock ** Traffic management will be in place intermittently between 10:00 and 16:00hrs in order to facilitate access to the new housing site located near the junction with Carysfort Avenue.
Old Bray Road, Shankill ** Footpath reconstruction works will commence from Crinken Church to Woodbrook Golf Course and Castlefarm to Shanganagh Park from Monday, 15th February 2016 for 3-weeks between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
Loughlinstown Drive, Loughlinstown ** The Road Safety Improvements Scheme at Loughlinstown Drive is on site from Monday, 8th February 2016 for approximately six weeks. Every attempt will be made to keep disruption at a minimum throughout the duration of the works, and a Traffic Management Plan will be in operation. The use of Stop / Go Traffic Management will be intermittently required throughout the works.
Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works ** Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
