Question: Councillor M. Merrigan the Chief Executive to erect metal bollards at the southern end of Desmond Avenue, Drin Laoghaire, outside (address supplied) on the east side and (address supplied) on the west side to prevent vehicles mounting the pavement when turning in this narrow cul de sac?"

..To ask

Reply: of ',Desmond Avenue is a residential cul de sac. Currently, there is an area at the end on vehicles for area a turning as serves yellow which lines the street with double Desmond Avenue. Further to a site assessment, bollards will be placed in the area to protect the pavement. The placement of bollards will not impede the ability of vehicles to turn.

The item of work will be added to the programme of work of the Traffic and Road Safety Section."
