Motion:

Councillor M. Merrigan

"That this Committee installs double yellow lines on the two Council owned laneways running parallel to Convent Road, Patrick Street and Mulgrave Street, D0n Laoghaire, to prevent vehicles parking in these laneways, blocking access, providing cover for antisocial behaviour and illegal dumping and, if required to enforce the Parking ByeLaws, that these laneways be named 'Sheridan Lane' and 'Toutcher Lane' and that the appropriate signage be erected indicating'No Parking'in these laneways."

Repoft: "At the November TAG meeting double yellow lines for 113m were approved on both sides for the laneway which is located between and parallel to Patrick Street and Convent Road, D[n Laoghaire. CRM Nos 016719, 025384 refer - see Garda Consultation List Agenda ltem for this Area Meeting. The laneway between Patrick Street and Mulgrave Street will be added to the agenda for the next TAG meeting for examination.

The naming of the laneways is a reserved function for Councillors. A list of names can be proposed and brought by Motion to the Environment Area Committee as this comes under the remit of the Road Maintenance Department."
