The commission in the affiliate world is often referred to as a CPA; or a cost per acquisition. This is usually a percentage of the final sale. For example, if an brand has a 20% margin to work with, this can be split between the voucher code and the CPA; such as 10% off the order or products for the customer and 10% CPA to the publisher. A brand can work directly with a publisher or through an affiliate network which offers the facilities to track the sale.
