outstanding journeys ~

unforgettable experiences

FROM MOROCCAN SOUKS TO THE SAHARA DESERT Morocco, with its rich and interesting culture, should be high on everyone’s travel list. Centuries of foreign trade, invasion and dynastic rule have given Morocco the many different cultural influences that are evident in today's society. From the Phoenicians who entered Morocco in the 6th century BC, and the Roman occupation from about 40 AD to the formation of Islamic Morocco and the influence of Europeans in the years after, Morocco has evolved with the rise and fall of empires.

4

After the exotic hustle and bustle of Morocco, the islands off Africa’s west coast offer a complete change. The upland villages and volcanic landscapes of Gran Canaria are little known jewels of this charming island. Conquered by the Spanish in the fifteenth century and fought over by the Dutch and British, it was here, during a battle in 1797, that Lord Nelson lost his right arm. Another English naval hero features in the history of the Cape Verde Islands as, in 1585, Sir Francis Drake twice attacked the Portuguese forces at Ribeira Grande, the island’s capital. Portugal had occupied the previously uninhabited Cape Verde in the fifteenth century and they became an important link in the transatlantic slave trade.

CROSSING THE LINE Situated just north of the equator off the coast of Gabon, Sao Tome and Principe is a Portuguese-speaking island nation in the Gulf of Guinea. The sublime laid-back tempo of the islands is enhanced by a wealth of natural attractions: miles of palmfringed beaches, large areas of rainforest, mellow fishing villages and excellent birdlife. You can also experience a true island paradise with a beach party on the wonderfully named Bom Bom Island. With its pristine beaches and crystal clear waters, this tiny islet on the northern shore of the volcanic island of Principe is a hidden gem.

As Aegean Odyssey sails south, she passes over the Equator and this event will be marked – as maritime tradition demands – by the Crossing the Line Ceremony.

THE SKELETON COAST TO SOUTH AFRICA GAME RESERVES

MARITIME TRADITIONS – SOUTH TO THE CAPE OF GOOD HOPE As Aegean Odyssey makes its way south to Cape Town, it is the perfect time to remember one of the great companies form the Golden Age of shipping. Union-Castle operated a fleet of passenger liners and cargo ships between Europe and South Africa from 1900 to 1977. Some of the most elegant ships ever built made up Union-Castle’s fleet and they were well known for the lavender-hulled liners with red funnels topped in black. Union-Castle ran on a very strict timetable: every Thursday at 4pm one of their Royal Mail ships would leave Southampton bound for Cape Town and at the same time, a Union-Castle Royal Mail Ship would leave Cape Town bound for Southampton. Painting by Robert G. Lloyd

Back on the mainland and the remarkable country of Namibia. With its unique landscapes and turbulent colonial history, Namibia is one of Africa’s “must-see” destinations. This reputation will be confirmed at both your Namibian destinations: Walvis Bay on the Skeleton Coast with its incredible lagoon and unique marine life and the German colonial port of Luderitz sandwiched between the barren Namib Desert and the windswept South Atlantic coast. Although we have become somewhat accustomed to seeing Africa's magnificent wildlife on our televisions, there is nothing comparable to coming face-to-face with one of the savannah's "Big Five" (lion, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard and rhinoceros). In South Africa, you will have the opportunity to come up close to these wonderful animals with safaris in three of the country’s top game parks (see page 27). South Africa also boasts many other magnificent attractions including the charms of Cape Town and the beautiful Garden Route.

The location of Cape Town, known in South Africa as the Mother City, is one of the world’s great sights with its backdrop of the majestic Table Mountain and its stunning South Atlantic coast. It is a place of great creativity, culture and history. It is also famous for its proximity to the marvellous vineyards of the Stellenbosch Valley and the Cape Winelands region. Another nearby marvel is the Garden Route which runs along the coast where the mighty Atlantic and Indian oceans meet and features a unique landscape of native flora. In this remarkable country you will also visit Durban and the nearby Zulu nation. Here you will not only be guided through the fascinating but bloody history of this most famous of African peoples but also experience their vibrant culture.

spectacular sights ~

memorable adventures

ISLANDS OF THE INDIAN OCEAN On this leg of the cruise, Aegean Odyssey calls at magical tropical islands: French Mayotte in the Comoros and Mahe, Praslin and La Digue in the Seychelles. Here you will find the finest white sandy beaches in the Indian Ocean, warm waters and beautiful colonial architecture. The perfect places to slow down and relax.

LANDS OF WONDERS Southeast Asia and India are two of the world's most popular tourist destinations, and for good reasons.

6

Many of the countries here have it all: a tropical climate – warm all year round, fascinating culture, wonderful food and charming people. It is also home to dynamic cities such as Singapore and natural wonders including the Phi Phi Islands in Thailand. It’s rich history has left a legacy of breathtaking architectural and artistic treasures. You will visit massive ancient temples, elegant mosques, historic churches and mysterious ruins – the diverse nature of Asia’s history is forever on display.

INDIA: EMPERORS AND EMPIRE On the land tour of the fabulous Golden Triangle in India the time of the Moghul emperors and the Age of Empire will grasp your attention. The great monuments from these times including the forts and palaces of Jaipur, Lutyen’s great monuments of the British Raj in Dehli and, of course, the Taj Mahal in Agra will inspire and delight. The magnificent sites of the Indian Subcontinent have been attracting travellers for centuries but another Asian country that his home to equally marvellous buildings, temples and

monuments has only recently begun to open up to visitors from the west. Burma, or Myanmar as it is now known, is rapidly becoming one of the most desired of destinations and with good reason.

BURMA: A WORLD APART ‘This is Burma’, wrote Rudyard Kipling. ‘It is quite unlike any place you know about.’ How right he was: more than a century later Myanmar remains a world apart. Visitors to Burma will discover a place where people are still attired in traditional

dress and that feels like a corner of Asia that has changed little since British colonial times. It’s also a country of many incredible sites such as the 4,000 sacred stupas (sacred Buddhist mounds) scattered across the plains of Bagan and the golden Shwedagon pagoda in Yangon, formerly Rangoon. This is a truly remarkable place where holy men are still revered and western technology has yet to dominate. It is these great buildings and monuments that have captivated visitors to Asia for centuries.

TAJ MAHAL: THE GREATEST LOVE STORY Shah Jahan was the son of Jehangir, the fourth Mughal emperor of India and the grandson of Akbar the Great. In 1612 he married the Persian princess Mumtaz Mahal and on becoming Emperor in 1628 bestowed his beloved wife with the title of Mumtaz Mahal, "Jewel of the Palace." In 1631, Mumtaz Mahal died in childbirth and Shah Jahan promised her that he would never remarry and would build the richest mausoleum ever seen over her grave. He proved to be a man of his word and it took 22 years and the labour of 22,000 workers to construct the monument. When Shah Jahan died in 1666, his body was placed in a tomb next to the tomb of Mumtaz Mahal and this magnificent monument came to be known as "Taj Mahal."

classical civilisations ~

fascinating history and cultures

TREASURES OF THE RED SEA The extraordinary achievements of man from very different ages are the highlights of this leg of the voyage. As the historian Paul Johnson tells us, the Egyptians “were the first people on earth to create a nation-state. This state served as the framework of a culture of extraordinary strength, assurance and durability which lasted for 3,000 years and which retained almost to the end its now unmistakable purity of style. In the Egypt of antiquity, state, religion and culture formed an indisputable unity.” The great legacy of this most fascinating of cultures comes to life as

8

you visit Luxor – the ancient city of Thebes, with its vast temple complex and the pharaonic tombs of the Valley of the Kings. As well as the city of Petra, Jordan is home to some of the most extensive and well-preserved Graeco-Roman ruins at Jerash.

TRANSIT THE SUEZ CANAL And then there is the more modern marvel of the Suez Canal. Opened in November 1869 after 10 years of construction, the 120-mile long canal allows ships to travel between Europe and Asia without navigating around

THE LAND OF WHALEBONES AND SHIPWRECKS The Skeleton Coast is the northern part of the Atlantic coast of Namibia and South Angola. The Bushmen of the Namibian interior called the region "The Land God Made in Anger", while Portuguese sailors once referred to it as "The Gates of Hell". The name “Skeleton Coast” was coined by John Henry Marsh as the title for the book he wrote chronicling the shipwreck of the British cargo liner Dunedin Star that ran aground here in November 1942. Since the book was first published in 1944 it has become so well known that the coast is now generally referred to as the Skeleton Coast and is given that as its official name on most maps today.

Africa and thereby reducing the sea voyage distance between Europe and India by about 4,300 miles. Today, sailing through the Suez is an awe-inspiring experience and our transit of the canal will be through the daytime hours – one of the world’s greatest travel adventures.

CLASSICAL CIVILISATIONS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN AND AEGEAN With over 6,000 miles of coastline surrounding relatively tranquil seas, with numerous natural harbours and hundreds of habitable islands, the Mediterranean and Aegean provide the perfect environment for the evolution

of complex patterns of trade and the communication of ideas. These conditions led to an unparalled explosion of human creativity and the birth of the great civilisations of antiquity. It is the legacy of these great cultures that you will explore as Aegean Odyssy reaches the final leg of its winter programme. Highlights include the fantastic Graeco-Roman cities of Ephesus and Aphrodisias in Turkey, the elegance of the ruins on the sacred island of Delos and, as a marvellous treat to conclude this special voyage, the breathtaking spectacle of the Acropolis in Athens.

10

voyages to antiquity ~

our philosophy THE BENEFITS OF SMALL-SHIP CRUISING

OUTSTANDING ITINERARIES

CELEBRATED GUEST SPEAKERS ON BOARD

In contrast to the massive vessels cruising to and from the major ports of the world's seas, we have a small ship adapted for island and coastal cruising. This means that Aegean Odyssey can visit less crowded harbours and sail closer to the coast enabling you to appreciate the magical views. Another benefit of our ship’s size is that it is able to navigate river passages and this allows us to berth right in the heart of Yangon (Rangoon) in Burma. As we carry only an average of 350 passengers, our ship is ideal for those who do not enjoy travelling around with hordes of people. Its public spaces are ideal for socialising and enjoying intimate cocktail parties and events. If you like to wander around beautiful islands and explore ancient sites that are inaccessible to others, then Aegean Odyssey is the ideal ship for you.

All our voyages have been meticulously planned by the Voyages to Antiquity staff and noted historians. Our many years of experience tells us that combining the best of cruising and land tours is the ideal way to explore these fascinating sites and get the most value from your chosen itinerary.

The guest speakers who accompany you on the cruise are all first class. They have been carefully selected for their knowledge of the areas and their ability to bring to life the history of the remarkable civilisations and cultures of the regions we visit.

This year we are delighted to include some brand new itineraries and destinations. These include Morocco, Madeira, the fascinating Comoros, the Canary Islands and the unforgettable scenery of Namibia. Perhaps our most exciting addition is South Africa. Here we will be visiting the delightful city of Cape Town, travelling the beautiful Garden Route and going on safari in three of the countries best game reserves.

Among those who will be joining us are David Price-Williams, and expert on Africa; Robert Gordon, retired Ambassador to Burma; and Denise Heywood who specialises in the art and culture of Southeast Asia. Assisting the main speakers aboard ship and on land will be our team of young and keen classical history graduates. They will be on hand to answer your questions and assist the guides on sightseeing trips.

11

A RELAXED ATMOSPHERE ON BOARD Evenings on board There will be a string trio, pianist and vocalist, casual dancing before and after dinner, and there will also be performances by some of the best local entertainment. No casino or disco. The officers’ introductory cocktail party is casual without the usual formalities. Parties and special events From beach parties on Bom Bom Island and the Maldives to wine tastings in South Africa and informal cocktail parties during days at sea, throughout your cruise there will be many opportunities to socialise with your fellow passengers and meet the crew. Dress code Suggestions for what to wear during nights and evenings aboard are found in the Essential Travel Information booklet we send with your travel documents. Resort casual is the general recommendation, however, there may be occasions where a jacket for men and cocktail attire for ladies may be worn.

SHORE EXCURSIONS INCLUDED IN YOUR FARE Wines included with dinner on board We do not think it is appropriate to serve dinner without wine, so wine (or beer and soft drinks) is included at dinner. Other vintages are available at reasonable prices. A good night’s sleep We place particular importance on the standard of bedding in cabins irrespective of category. Fine duvets, covers and sheets, ample soft pillows and quality towels can be expected and your cabin steward is always ready to make changes if you desire. Language on board The ship’s language is English and you can expect fellow passengers to be from the UK, US, Canada and Australia, with a sprinkling of enthusiasts from Europe and the Far East. Technology We ask that mobile phones and laptops be used discreetly in the interest of fellow passengers. The internet room is always open for those who cannot resist contact with the outside world. Children Our cruises are destination focused and not designed for children under the age of 12. Tipping Always a difficult subject. We have decided to include all tips to cabin stewards and restaurant staff. You may wish to show your appreciation to individuals offering exceptional service (totally optional).

12

Our pre- and post-cruise land stays allow you not only to relax after a long flight but also to experience some of the world’s most vibrant and exciting cities. These stays also allow us to include some of the truly fascinating sights not easily accessible from ports of call such as the spectacular “Golden Triangle” excursion – including the Taj Mahal – in India, the extended stay in the vibrant city of Singapore, the tour of the best of Morocco and a journey through Jordan from Petra to the capital, Amman (see page 14). Included Shore Excursions and wildlife safaris

A mixture of full-day or half-day shore excursions is included in all our ports of call. When the major sightseeing experience requires a full day excursion such as Kandy in Colombo, the ancient city of Aphrodisias in Turkey, and some of our South African safaris, we have included it.

On occasion, we will also offer prebookable optional excursions, some with limited capacity as flights are involved. These include the Burmese royal capital of Mandalay and the magnificent pagodas of Bagan from Yangon (Rangoon). These are offered as alternatives to the included excursion and are available at advantageous prices. Individual QuietVox headsets

On all shore excursions, the expert guides will share their knowledge with the group using QuietVox. Through your individual headset, these devices allow you to hear the tour leader clearly even at the busiest sites. Voyages to Antiquity was one of the first cruise lines to operate this service. We trust this means that you won’t miss a thing and your visits to these wonderful places will be as memorable and exciting as possible.

QUALITY HOTELS ASHORE Voyages to Antiquity places great emphasis on the quality of accommodation ashore. Hotels in Asia and India are famous for their service and facilities and we have selected some of the best 5-star deluxe hotels for your included land stays. In India, guests can enjoy the Ayurvedic spa of Le Meridien in Delhi and relax in the 35 acres of landscaped grounds at the ITC Mughal in Agra. When visiting the pharaonic treasures in Luxor your base will be the superbly well-appointed Steigenberger Palace on the banks of the River Nile that is situated only a short distance from Karnak and the Valley of the Kings. Balcony class passengers can look forward to the opulence of the Sofitel Palais Imperial in Marrakesh, which is surrounded by stunning gardens. In Singapore, the Regent Four Seasons with its rooftop pool, spectacular views and excellent restaurants, is one of the best addresses in town. See pages 50 and 51 for full information.

With openseating dining, inside or al fresco, several bars and lounges to relax, and the immaculate service of a friendly and attentive crew, you can be sure of a superior cruise experience. place to unwind as you sail along South Africa’s coast and to the tropical islands of the Indian Ocean. Public rooms offer an understated elegance. The Ambassador Lounge is where our speakers inform and our musicians entertain, whilst the Charleston Lounge is the perfect place to meet friends – old and new – with light music and, perhaps, a little dancing. On the top deck, the panoramic Observation Lounge and bar is a wonderful spot to watch the waves go by during the day, or enjoy a nightcap looking at the stars in the evening.

The well-stocked library is beautifully appointed with wood panelling, and is regularly updated by Oxford-based booksellers Blackwells. There is an extensive range of volumes covering the history, art, culture and philosophy of the countries you will visit. In addition, there is an extensive collection of reference books, modern and classic fiction, and general interest volumes. Newspapers are delivered daily via satellite and are available in the library. You will also find a selection of board games from Monopoly to chess. For those passengers who want to keep in touch with friends, check their emails or

find out what is happening in the world, there is an internet centre. Or for those in need of a little retail therapy, there is also a well-stocked shop. A welcome difference One of the things that sets us apart from the rest is that we plan our cruise itineraries to maximise your time in port with many late evening sailings and overnight stays. This will give you the opportunity to plan an evening on board and ashore – perhaps having a cocktail in one of Cape Town’s many bars or sampling the wonderful cuisines of India and Asia, or just an after-dinner stroll for a nightcap as you watch the world go by.

Days at sea: relax or revive

Renowned lecture programme

During days at sea you may simply wish to enjoy the sun on the Lido Deck or cool off in the outdoor pool. Perhaps borrow a book from the library and read in one of the cool lounges. Alternatively, you could start the day with an early morning yoga session or plan a visit to the Athena Health Spa and Gym. Here you will find the latest gym equipment for a serious workout, a sauna, and a good selection of therapies and treatments to refresh and renew you during your cruise. More pampering can be found in the hairdressers and beauty centre.

If you want to attend to the mind not the body, there will be a programme of lectures – held in the Ambassador Lounge – designed to not only inform and entertain but also to bring to life the wonderful sites you will visit. There will normally be a number of guest speakers on your cruise, each with a different area

of expertise. Prior to arrival in each port of call, there will be a port briefing to inform you of the sites, culture and history of your next destination. Nights to remember Start your evening with a cocktail in the Lido Bar as you watch the sun go down and meet old and new-found friends. Or enjoy an aperitif in the Charleston Lounge while being entertained by our resident trio. As well as being one of the world’s most historically interesting and naturally beautiful destinations, India and Southeast Asia are also home to a range of unsurpassed culinary traditions.

This gastronomic culture of using the very best fresh local ingredients cooked in a simple but delicious and healthy style is the inspiration for the restaurants on Aegean Odyssey. Your cabin comforts Your on-board comfort is one of our prime concerns. All cabins feature flatscreen television, safe, hairdryer and plush bedding and most outside cabins have windows rather than portholes. A complete refurbishment in 2010 allowed us to create a feeling of luxury in all our accommodations.

BalconyCLASS As well as adding a new dimension of luxury to our cabins and staterooms, we have created a special level of accommodation entitled “Balcony Class.” In addition to the standard cabin features mentioned, guests in Balcony Class (categories A to D) will also enjoy: • STATEROOM OR SUITE WITH BALCONY • A WELCOME BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE & PETIT FOURS • REFRIGERATOR STOCKED WITH SOFT DRINKS • COMPLIMENTARY BOTTLED WATER • ROBE AND SLIPPERS • MOLTON BROWN BATHROOM AMENITIES • PRIORITY SIGHTSEEING BOARDING

After all is said and done, what passengers love most about Aegean Odyssey is the warm and intimate atmosphere. Ships, like people, have personalities. Some are proper and formal. Others offer the anonymity of a large hotel. On board Aegean Odyssey you are greeted as a returning family member even if it’s your first time on board.

24

IT’S OUR PEOPLE

THAT MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE Home away from home

At your service

On board Aegean Odyssey, you are greeted as a returning family member – even if it is your first time on board. You’ll find smiles and welcomes from everyone from the Captain to your cabin steward. And unlike a vast megaliner, it is easy to meet fellow passengers whose passions and interests are similar to your own.

Ask any world traveller where they receive the best service and they will undoubtedly answer the Far East. Of all the nationalities in that part of the world, it is the Filipinos who carry the highest reputation for attention to detail. Fluent in English and always serving with a smile, our Filipino crew will win your hearts.

Your cabin steward will refresh your stateroom before you even realise you need it. Your waiter will remember whether you take tea or coffee, and the barman whether you like your Martini shaken or stirred. They, and the rest of our officers and crew, are dedicated to making your holiday a delightful experience.

Just a few comments from previous guests “You don’t need to be a history buff – anyone with an interest in culture will enjoy this cruise. In a way it inspires you to learn more and delve deeper into the places we have visited. The ship is such a nice size – not too big and very informal. You really get to know people and it’s a delightful atmosphere.” P.M. - UK

It is this personal approach that our guests remember and value most highly. But don’t just take our word for it, here is what recent travellers aboard Aegean Odyssey had to say.

“Everyone from the Captain, crew, cruise organiser, front office personel, cabin staff and beverage staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. They are a credit to your organisation and you can be proud of them – they are doing a great job!” G.B. - Australia “The voyage was a wonderful experience and the best way for me to celebrate my 70th birthday. From my initial dealings with the booking office, to the organised tours of the various sites, to the passengers and crew everything was perfect. The crew was most solicitous – the maître’d made certain that I had a quiet table each evening, the cabin

steward saw to my every need, the cruise coordinator organised a dinner celebration for my birthday. Everything was just LOVELY!!” R.S. - USA

“I

chose this cruise because the itinerary was just a little bit different from the other companies I’ve looked at. It gave passengers the opportunity go to places and do things you couldn’t do with the other cruise lines.I would certainly recommend Voyages to Antiquity – it’s a bit intellectual, with some fun, relaxation, good food and amazing people. The scenery has been stunning and the places – without doubt I would recommend it.” M.M. - UK

“I

have recently returned and feel disposed to write and congratulate all concerned in providing me with a truly memorable experience. I was a single passenger taking my first cruise, and can honestly say that I could not find even the smallest fault with the whole experience.

The ship, its facilities, the food on board, all the crew and the excursions within the 10 day itinerary were better than I dared to expect, and speaking to fellow passengers who were often well experienced in cruising, they too were pleasantly surprised at the high standards attained throughout. My only complaint is that you have of course spoiled me for any cruise other than with your Company, and I look forward to joining you again.” G. G. B. MBE - UK

“The ship was absolutely marvellous, the

crew outstanding, accommodation food, service, entertainment all first class, and interesting Guest Speakers made it a wonderful cruise.” B.W. - Australia

“WOW! Wonderful in every way! I came

by myself, but never felt alone. The ship was very comfortable and easy to get around. The shore excursions far exceeded my expectations! I look forward to another adventure on this intimate ship.” R.S. - USA

IN SEARCH OF THE BIG FIVE ON INCLUDED SOUTH AFRICAN SAFARIS Elephant, lion, black rhino, buffalo and leopard – here is an amazing opportunity to see the magnificent wildlife of the African savannah. Three of the following voyages include visits to the Addo Elephant Park, Hluhluwe Game Reserve and St Lucia Nature Reserve.

ADDO ELEPHANT PARK This is a true conservation success story. When the park was set up in 1931 it contained 11 elephants, today it is home to over 450. The species found here is somewhat smaller than the traditional African elephant and is also slightly reddish in colour as opposed to the more usual grey tone. The park is also home to abundant animal and bird life.

HLUHLUWE GAME RESERVE Perhaps the main attraction of Hluhluwe is its population of rare white rhinos, a species increasingly under threat of extinction due to poaching for the Chinese medicine trade. In this reserve you are also likely to spot cheetah, giraffe, leopard and a host of other iconic African animals.

the indian ocean

ST LUCIA NATURE RESERVE Here you will enjoy a safari with a difference as you swap the usual Land Rover for a boat and take to the waters of Lake St Lucia. This is home to the greatest population of crocodiles and hippos in South Africa. Lake St Lucia is also a paradise for birdwatchers as it is home to over 500 different species. Please note that wildlife sightings of specific animals cannot be guaranteed.

During your visit you will see Camara de Lobos, one of the villages that inspired Churchill to paint, and also have enough free time to explore the famous Botanical Gardens. You reach the island having sailed from the historical Spanish mainland port of Cadiz and en route to the Canary Islands. Here you will discover a little-known aspect of the islands as you travel to the Caldera de Taburiente National Park and journey deep inland to the fascinating interior of Fuerteventura – a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve – with its historic churches and rugged landscapes. Before reaching Morocco and a chance to experience the very best it has to offer including Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier and Marrakesh, plus the lesser-known but equally exciting city of Taroudant, there is time to call at the port of El Marsa. From here you will venture into the sand dunes of the Western Sahara Desert and experience one of the great wildernesses of the world.

Continue on to Casablanca to rejoin Aegean Odyssey.

Sail into the harbour of Santa Cruz on La Palma island and you are greeted by the island’s stunning volcanic landscape. Here you can either explore La Palma or venture inland to the Caldera de Taburiente National Park. Fuerteventura might be known for its amazing beaches, but there’s a lot more to this island. On your included tour, you’ll journey deep inland to discover forgotten villages dotted with whitewashed houses, beautiful old churches and hidden cobbled streets. You’ll take in the traditional former capital, Betancuria, and the picturesque village of Pajara. You’ll also call in at an aloe vera plantation, stop in the windmill museum

LAAYOUNE AND THE WESTERN SAHARA DESERT From the port of El Marsa, you’ll drive across the sand dunes to the city of Laayoune with its unique Spanish-Saharan architecture and colourful markets. Your journey will take you through one of the world’s great desert landscapes.

CHURCHILL IN MARRAKESH Marrakesh held a special place in Winston Churchill’s heart and he once described the Moroccan city as “simply the nicest place on Earth to spend an afternoon.” Churchill first visited Marrakesh in the Thirties when he spent the winter of 1935 painting what he called “the Paris of the Sahara.” So taken was he with the place that, during a vital conference with Franklin D Roosevelt in Casablanca in 1943, Churchill broke off discussions in order to show the American President his favourite city. After the war, Churchill often visited and usually stayed at Marrakesh’s most famous hotel, La Mamounia.

REMOTE ISLANDS OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN Enjoy the African feel to Praia, capital of the Cape Verde island of Sao Tiago. Travel to the old Portuguese capital of Cidade Velha with its fort, cathedral and colonial houses. The island of Sao Tome, another former Portuguese colony, has many interesting sites including the National Museum, lively city market and the chance to visit a plantation. Enjoy a day relaxing

and enjoying tropical beach life at the exotically-named resort of Bom Bom on the island of Principe. See the Palacio de Ferro designed by Gustav Eiffel of Tower fame, the colonial suburb of Cidade Alta and visit the fascinating Angolan National Museum. Your first port in Namibia is Walvis Bay from where you take the short but scenic (sand tunes on one side, the rolling Atlantic on the other) drive to the colonial town of Swakopmund. CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR VOYAGE CAPE TOWN TO CAPE TOWN DEPARTS DECEMBER 18, 2015

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR IN

SOUTH AFRICA Enjoy summer sunshine and spend the festive season on this remarkable voyage to the best of southern Africa “This is a pretty and singular town; it lies at the foot of an enormous wall (the Table Mountain), which reaches into the clouds, and makes a most imposing barrier. Cape Town is a great inn, on the great highway to the east.” These words of Charles Darwin, written in a letter to his sister, will resonate with you after spending a few days in this wonderful city. South Africa is also famous for its amazing wildlife and you will not be short of safari memories after visiting three of the country’s most renowned game reserves. For some the highlight of these trips will no doubt be spotting the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard and rhino) but for others it may be seeing the remarkable birdlife or the majestic giraffe that stay longest in the memory. A call at Mossel Bay allows for a journey along the scenic Garden Route into the Outeniqua Mountains. Also on this cruise you will celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve at sea and visit the colonial town of Luderitz on Namibia’s remarkable Skeleton Coast.

THE HISTORY AND SITES IN AND AROUND CAPE TOWN “This cape is the most stately thing and the fairest cape we saw in the whole circumference of the earth.” These were the words of Sir Francis Drake when he first saw the site of what is today Cape Town. Your stay in this historic and picturesque city – known as South Africa’s “Mother City” – will show you the best this marvellous place has to offer. After an orientation tour, you will take the unforgettable cable car ride up Table Mountain and then take the ferry to Robben Island. This infamous prison was the place of Nelson Mandela’s incarceration and your tour includes the later president’s cell. You will also visit one of the world famous wine estates in Stellenbosch and taste the vintages. In free time, you may wish to explore the stunning Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. And, as the ship is moored close to the lively Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, you can stroll ashore and enjoy the many restaurants and bars. SOUTH AFRICA’S AMAZING NATURAL HISTORY The Addo Elephant Park is the first of your game reserve safaris and features the park’s namesake elephants. Addo also comprises five distinct habitats – from grassland to montane forest – and so there is a wealth of wildlife on show. While exactly what is seen varies day-to-day, the sights are always spectacular. At Hluhluwe Game Reserve as well as the chance to get up close to many beautiful species, the stand out attraction is the park’s population of rare white rhinos. A different experience awaits at St Lucia Wetland Reserve as you cruise the lake in search of hippo and crocodiles. This park also boasts an incredible variety of bird life. Three days in Cape Town, South Africa

MOSSEL BAY AND THE GARDEN ROUTE The ancient forests, craggy peaks covered in flowering scrub called fynbos, and the desert-like landscape combine to create one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the world – the Garden Route. Your journey takes you into the Outeniqua Mountains and to Oudtshoorn, a town set in an oasis-like valley. The opulent architecture of Oudtshoorn is testament to the Ostrich Feather Boom that was fuelled by the demand for feathers for women’s clothing which ran from 1860-1914. LUDERITZ AND NAMIBIA’S SKELETON COAST Luderitz is a town of history and charm. Founded by Bremen merchant Adolf Luderitz in 1883, it blossomed during the diamond rush at the beginning of the 20th century. Your walking tour will take in the remarkable colonial architecture including the opulent Goerke Haus one of the “diamond palaces” built in 1910 and the Luderitz Museum that tells the town’s story as a diamond port. You will also venture into the Namib Desert to visit the eerily beautiful ghost town of Kolmanskop. Once a thriving and wealthy diamond town, Kolmanskop was abandoned after World War I when the prospectors moved on. There is also the opportunity to see the fabulous wildlife on Halifax Island.

Your journey along the Garden Route into the Outeniqua Mountains starts from the picturesque small harbour town of Mossel Bay, and your safari adventures take you to three of South Africa’s best game parks and the opportunity to get up close to Africa’s iconic wildlife. There is also time to call at the vibrant city of Durban with its memorable Botanical Gardens – with its famous orchid house – and bustling craft market.

When asked about his impression of South Africa, former American President Bill Clinton replied, "South Africa isn't just beautiful, it is achingly beautiful" and this two-week journey might well have been designed to give form to his words.

CAPE TOWN: SOUTH AFRICA’S “MOTHER CITY” The great naturalist Charles Darwin was so moved by the time he spent in Cape Town that he was moved to write to his sister: “This is a pretty and singular town; it lies at the foot of an enormous wall (the Table Mountain), which reaches into the clouds, and makes a most imposing barrier. Cape Town is a great inn, on the great highway to the east.” Your visit to this fabulous city will, we hope, do justice to his words. The beauty of Cape Town’s location will certainly make an impression when you take the cable car up Table Mountain and get a breathtaking panoramic view of its situation. Your visit also offers the chance of a trip to infamous Robben Island or a visit to a winery in the Stellenbosch Valley, and time to enjoy this wonderful place. MOSSEL BAY AND THE GARDEN ROUTE The ancient forests, craggy peaks covered in flowering scrub called fynbos, and the desert-like landscape combine to create one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the world, the Garden Route. ON SAFARI: LAND OF LION, ELEPHANT AND LEOPARD At Hluhluwe Game Reserve as well as the chance to get up close to many beautiful species, the stand out attraction is the park’s population of rare white rhinos.

Visit South Africa’s Game Reserves

A different experience awaits at St Lucia Wetland Reserve as you cruise the lake in search of hippo and crocodiles. This park also boasts an incredible variety of birdlife. The Addo Elephant Park is the final of your game reserve safaris and features, of course, the park’s namesake African elephants. Addo also comprises five distinct habitats – from grassland to montane forest – and so there is a wealth of wildlife on show. While exactly what is seen on a game drive varies day-to-day, the sights are always spectacular. DURBAN: A FUN LOVING CITY More laid back than Cape Town and the centre of South Africa’s sporting life, Durban is a mix of grand colonial buildings and beautiful art deco architecture. Your tour will show you out of the city to the Valley of a Thousand Hills to experience both modern and historical African tribal culture in the Zulu homeland. As well as learning about the tribe’s often bloody history, there will be a performance of the renowned Zulu dance.

SOUTH AFRICA TO ASIA VIA THE

INDIAN OCEAN South African game parks give way to tropical islands, jungle landscapes and Buddhist temples

Starting with a two-night stay on board Aegean Odyssey in Cape Town, this itinerary will take you from the magnificent flora and fauna of Africa to the sandy beaches of the Maldives and the lush plantations of Sri Lanka. So this cruise will give you the opportunity to watch big game, shop in spice markets, swim in crystal clear waters and enjoy a barbeque party on the beach. After Cape Town and your safari adventures at the Addo Elephant Park and Hluhluwe and St Lucia Game Reserves, Aegean Odyssey cruises into the warm waters of the Indian Ocean on the way to Mayotte, a tiny piece of France in the Comoros Islands. It is then on to the pristine sands and laid-back charm of the Seychelles including the islands of Praslin and La Digue where you can stroll along perfect beaches and swim in crystal waters. Then sail across the Indian Ocean to a true desert island paradise, the Maldives. The final destination is the island of Sri Lanka and a two-night stay in one of Colombo’s top hotels. A TASTE OF CAPE TOWN Set against the backdrop of the iconic Table Mountain and resting next to the beautiful waters of Table Bay, the beauty of Cape Town never ceases to take the breath away. It is also a buzzing city famous for its modern culture and rich history. Your stay in this city will include a trip up Table Mountain, the opportunity to see Mandela’s cell on Robben Island and the opportunity of a trip to the Stellenbosch Valley including a wine tasting. Any spare time you have is easily filled in this charming and fascinating place. It is also a good idea to visit the cultivated areas, such as the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

SAVING THE WHITE RHINO Saving the white rhinos from extinction is one of the greatest success stories in conservation history. In the early 1890s there were only about 20 white rhino left in the world, all of them existing in Hluhluwe. Today, there are over 1,600 in the reserve and many others have been relocated throughout the world. As the home of Operation Rhino in the 1950s and 60s, the Park became world-renowned for its white rhino conservation. The success of this programme has recently been compromised by the increase in rhino poaching within the park. This recent threat has not only become a great concern for the park, but for rhino conservationists countrywide.

ON SAFARI: LAND OF LION, ELEPHANT AND LEOPARD The Addo Elephant Park is the first of your game reserve safaris and features, of course, the park’s namesake African elephants. Addo also comprises five distinct habitats – from grassland to montane forest – and so there is a wealth of wildlife on show. At Hluhluwe Game Reserve as well as the chance to get up close to many beautiful species, the stand out attraction is the park’s population of rare white rhinos (see box). lagoons. Exotic trees edge the border of white sand beaches on the beautiful Seychelles islands. On granite-peaked Mahe there is a quaint, ramshackle charm to the tin roofs and broad verandas of Victoria, the capital. A trip to the Marine National Park reveals the beauty of the Seychelles coral reef. A paradise for naturalists, the Seychelles are home to some of the greatest variety of flora and fauna in the world. La Digue is home to many rare species of birds and is considered the most beautiful island in the group. Praslin, sanctuary for the rare black parrot, is one of only two places in the world able to grow the famous Coco-de-Mer palm tree. After cruising through the Maldives, you will spend the day enjoying a barbecue and party on the sandy beaches of the uninhabited island of Kuda Bandos. SRI LANKA – PEARL OF THE INDIAN OCEAN A jewel of an island, Sri Lanka offers a unique combination of scenery, culture and history. Although Colombo is a thriving modern city, it has not lost its Old World charm, spiritual heart and historical interest. This contrast will become apparent as you see the colourful Pettah Bazaar and visit the Asokaramaya Buddhist temple. Here you will see the incredible murals: the details and colours are exquisite and the Asokaramaya is truly a worthy destination to explore.

“This is Burma, and it will be quite unlike any land you know about,” wrote Rudyard Kipling in 1889 and his observation still rings true today. This voyage will take you into the heart of this mysterious, beautiful and deeply spiritual country. This is a land of incredible landscapes, some truly breathtaking, man-made edifices, like the temples at Bagan or the golden Shwedagon, and a warm and friendly people. Your arrival is fittingly spectacular as the size of our ship allows us to sail up the Yangon River to berth in the port of Yangon (Rangoon), the former capital of Burma. From Burma, Aegean Odyssey sails for Phuket in Thailand. From here you will not only have the chance to explore this delightful resort but also sail to the stunning Phi Phi Islands. An overnight cruise takes you to the Malaysian island of Penang with its rich colonial history and then on to the port of Malacca, once the centre of the spice trade. Your journey concludes with a twonight hotel stay in Singapore, the city that combines the colonial elegance of the Sir Stamford Raffles era with the dynamism of a modern hi-tech city-state.

SRI LANKA, INDIA & THE ANDAMAN ISLANDS Start your journey with a 2-night hotel stay in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. Here you will visit the Pettah Bazaar and the Asokaramaya Buddhist temple with its incredible murals. Also included is a drive through Sri Lanka’s stunning hill country to the town of Kandy and the Temple of the Tooth containing the famous dental relic of the Buddha. The final destination in Sri Lanka is Galle, home to the well-preserved 17th century Dutch fort. Chennai, formerly known as Madras, was founded nearly 400 years ago and is India's sixth largest city. Your tour will include Fort St George which was built by the East India Company in 1640. Situated in the Bay of Bengal between India and Burma, the Andaman Islands were an important British naval base and penal colony. Port Blair is the islands' capital and home to the Andaman's historic monuments and museums.

Shwedagon Pagoda, Yangon

DISCOVERING THE ANCIENT BURMESE KINGDOM BAGAN Located in the central plains of Myanmar lie the ruins of Bagan covering an area of 16 square miles. Constructed between the 11th and 13th century, this remarkable landscape is peppered with over 2,000 pagodas and temples. Alternatively you can visit MANDALAY, the last Royal capital of Burma, situated on the banks of the Irrawaddy River. See the magnificent Palace, visit the famous Buddhiust monastery and the Maha Muni Pagoda with its spectacular gold-leaf Buddha.

BURMA – LAND OF GOLDEN TEMPLES Gentle and humorous people, monumental golden statues of the Buddha, landscapes dotted with thousands of sacred stupas (Buddhist holy monuments), and a sense of travelling back in time to the days of old Asia are just some of the experiences that will greet you in Myanmar (Burma). As Aegean Odyssey is berthed in the heart of Yangon (Rangoon), you will have plenty of time to explore this remarkable city. A highlight of Yangon is the awe-inspiring golden Shwedagon pagoda with its 320-foot-high stupa that is covered in genuine gold plates (these are donated by ordinary Myanmar people from all over the country): it is truly a remarkable sight. As well as included sightseeing in

Yangon, there’s a full day excursion to Bago. Or you may choose to take an optional excursion by air to visit one of Myanmar’s other highlights – Mandalay or Bagan (see box). THAILAND & MALAYSIA Although it is a popular resort, Phuket has retained much of its culture. From here, a local boat will take you to the natural wonders of the Phi Phi Islands. Penang was part of the Malay sultanate until 1786, when Captain Francis Light built a fort at the site of present-day Georgetown and managed to get the island ceded to the British East India Company. You will spend the afternoon exploring the island, visiting the massive reclining Buddha and museum. Malacca was the capital of the Malacca Sultanate and was the centre of the Malay world in the 15th and 16th centuries. It fell to the hands of the Portuguese in 1511 and centuries of colonisation by the Portuguese, Dutch and the British have influenced the architecture of the town. This rich history will come to life as you tour the main colonial sites including the ruined Portuguese fort “A Famosa,” St Paul’s Church that overlooks the Malacca Strait, and Dutch Square. SINGAPORE – CITY OF LIONS Singapore could be said to be the city that Sir Stamford Raffles built. It was his vision that identified Singapore as the perfect port for British trade and in 1819 he persuaded Sultan Hussein to cede it to the British. Singapore’s fortunes flourished until it fell to the Japanese in World War II but, after post-war independence, the energy and dynamism of Singapore’s people created one of the great modern cities of Asia.

SINGAPORE & MALAY PENINSULA The energy and dynamism of Singapore’s people created one of the great modern cities of Asia. A fascinating tour of the city will give you a flavour of both modern and historical Singapore. The rich history of Malacca will come to life as you tour the main colonial sites including the ruined Portuguese fort “A Famosa,” St Paul’s Church and Dutch Square. Penang, along with Malacca and Singapore, was one of the three British Straits Settlements and the capital, Georgetown, was named after King George III. You will spend the afternoon exploring Georgetown with its wellpreserved colonial core. COLOMBO & KANDY, SRI LANKA Although Colombo is a modern city, it has not lost its Old World charm, spiritual heart and historical interest. This contrast is apparent as you see the colourful Pettah Bazaar and visit the Asokaramaya Buddhist temple. After a drive through Sri Lanka’s stunning hill country and tea plantations, you arrive at the picturesque, naturally fortified hill town of Kandy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will visit the Temple of the Tooth and the Botanical Gardens. CRUISE THE MALABAR COAST TO MUMBAI Situated in the State of Kerala, Cochin has a remarkable history: here you will see the oldest church in India and palaces from the days of the Raj. It was here in 1524 that the Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama died and his body was entombed in the chapel of Santo Antonio until it was moved to Portugal in 1538. With its languid, tropical atmosphere and magnificent chapel of St Aloysius, Mangalore is a delightful stop on your Taj Mahal, Agra

way up the west coast of India. Old Goa, founded by the Portuguese, is home to churches dating back to the mid-16th century. As well as seeing the historic villas of the Portuguese era, you will visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus. Your tour will visit all the main sights of Mumbai including Mani Bhavan, a museum that was once the residence of Mahatma Gandhi, the Victorian monuments of the British Empire, the Prince of Wales Museum and the Gateway of India. Next, fly to Delhi and the wonders of the Golden Triangle. DELHI & THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Jaipur is a city of palaces built from rose-coloured stone. You will visit the Maharaja’s City Palace, and also see the magnificent Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds). Another highlight is the Amber Fort with its lavish interiors. Agra was one of the most important cities in India under the Mughals and witnessed a great deal of ambitious building activity. Babar, the founder of the Mughal dynasty, laid out the first formal Persian garden on the banks of the Yamuna river and his grandson Akbar raised the towering ramparts of the Great Red Fort. Shah Jahan, known for his keen interest in architecture, gave Agra its most prized monument, the Taj Mahal. After the British East India Company had gained control of much of India during the 18th and 19th centuries, Calcutta became the capital until George V announced in 1911 that it was to move back to Delhi. Your visit will include a tour of the Old City and the immense Jama Masjid (Great Mosque). You will see the famous Red Fort and Raj Ghat where Gandhi was cremated.

& THE WONDERS OF

THE RED SEA From the romantic elegance of the Taj Mahal to the wonders of ancient Thebes and the hidden city of Petra in Jordan

This cruise-tour is topped-and-tailed by the cultural and historical sites of India's Golden Triangle and the monuments of Jordan and Pharaonic Egypt. Delhi, Agra and Jaipur are the three points of India’s “Golden Triangle.” Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan, is home to some of Asia's best bazaars. Delhi is divided between the old Moghul city and British-built New Delhi and Agra, once the heart of the Moghul Empire, boasts the unparalleled beauty of the Taj Mahal. After this included five-day land tour, you board Aegean Odyssey in Mumbai and set sail for Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, and then continue to the port of Muscat in Oman where you will see the Sultan's Palace. Next, visit Salalah, famous for the production of frankincense before relaxing at sea as the ship makes its way to Egypt. Arriving at Safaga you travel to Luxor and two breathtaking sites: the vast temple complex of Karnak and the marvels of the necropolis in the Valley of the Kings. Finally, to fascinating Jordan where your land tour will include Petra and the fabulously well-preserved Graeco-Roman ruins of Jerash.

INDIA’S GOLDEN TRIANGLE Visit Delhi Old City and the immense Jama Masjid (Great Mosque). See the famous Red Fort and Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Walk along the imperial mall, Rajpath, to the mighty arch of India Gate. Once one of the most important cities in India under the Mughals, Agra witnessed a great deal of ambitious and splendid building activity. Babar, founder of the Mughal dynasty, laid out the first formal Persian garden and his grandson Akbar raised the towering ramparts of the Great Red Fort. Shah Jahan gave Agra its most prized monument, the Taj Mahal. Popularly known as the Pink City, Jaipur was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber. It is a city of palaces built from rose-coloured stone where you will visit the opulent Maharaja’s City Palace and see the magnificent Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds). Another highlight is the Amber Fort with its lavish interiors. MUMBAI – GATEWAY TO INDIA Mumbai was made the headquarters of the British East India Company in 1687 but it was the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869 that transformed the city – then known as Bombay – into one of the world’s great trading centres. Your tour will visit all the main sights of Mumbai including Mani Bhavan, a museum that was once the residence of Mahatma Gandhi, the Victorian architectural monuments of the British Empire, the Prince of Wales Museum and the Gateway of India.

Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

BIRTHPLACE OF A HERO Mohandas Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869 in Porbandar, where his father, uncle and grandfather had all been prime ministers to the Jethwa Rajput rulers of the princely state. The site of Gandhi’s birth, Kirti Mandir, is now a museum. 26 DAYS FROM DELHI TO AMMAN

OMAN – MUSCAT AND SALALAH The 16th-century Portuguese admiral Alfonso de Albuqueque described Muscat as a “very elegant town with very fine houses,” and his description of the capital of Oman still holds true today. The old town is dominated by two great stone forts, Al Jalali and Al Mirani, which were built by the Portuguese in the late 16th century, and on the waterfront stands the Sultan's imposing palace. Salalah is a city of antiquity, boasting both the ruins of the fortified town of Sumharam and the Tomb of Job. EGYPT’S VALLEY OF THE KINGS & ANCIENT JORDAN From Safaga we head to Luxor for an overnight hotel stay. Highlights here include the massive Karnak Temple and tombs of the pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings. Disembarking in Aqaba the drive to Petra takes a scenic route via Wadi Rum. Your first glimpse of the ancient rose-red city of Petra is one you will not forget, as you emerge from the mile long path that winds between two overhanging cliffs to stand in front of the impressive colonnaded Treasury. Citadel Hill in Amman is the site of an impressive concentration of antiquity including the 2nd-century AD Temple of Hercules. Graeco-Roman Jerash was built by Alexander the Great in the 2nd century BC and was a flourishing city of the Decapolis, the league of ten Roman cities.

AMMAN, ANCIENT PETRA & THE SUEZ CANAL Citadel Hill in Jordan's capital Amman is the site of an impressive concentration of antiquity including 2nd-century AD Temple of Hercules, the Omayyad Palace and Bronze and Iron Age remains. Graeco-Roman Jerash was built by Alexander the Great in the 2nd century BC and was a flourishing city of the Decapolis, the league of ten Roman cities. The city lay untouched for centuries and is very well preserved – you can see colonnaded streets, temples and a theatre which once held 5,000 spectators. Your drive to Petra takes a scenic route via the Dead Sea – pause for lunch and take a dip in the sea's salutary buoyant waters. Your first glimpse of the ancient rose-red city of Petra is one you will not forget, as you emerge from the mile long path that winds between two overhanging cliffs to stand in front of the impressive colonnaded Treasury. Embarking Aegean Odyssey in the port of Aqaba, you can relax as the ship cruises the Red Sea and enjoy a daytime sailing through the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean.

The Treasury, Petra

THE PARTHENON: AN EXPLOSIVE HISTORY The year 1687 was not a good one for the Parthenon. Ottoman Athens was under attack from the Venetians and the Turks decided to sequester their ammunition within the thick walls of the Parthenon. The Christian forces under the command of a Swedish general Count Koenigsmark, subjected the temple to a prolonged bombardment and unfortunately, the artillery hit the bulls eye. The resulting explosion destroyed 28 columns and much of the the internal structure, and further catastrophic damage followed as the triumphant Venetians botched an attempt to remove the surviving figures of the west pediment.

CYPRUS TO TURKEY’S CRUSADER COAST & RHODES A short journey from Limassol takes you to the Graeco-Roman city of Kourion. With breathtaking views over the Mediterranean, Kourion contains some remarkable monuments including the vast 2nd-century AD stadium and the Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates. Then to Antalya in Turkey and the Hellenistic city of Perge and the ancient Roman trading town of Aspendos with its beautifully preserved 2nd century AD Roman theatre.

The next port of call is Rhodes and a chance to explore the Old Town and Citadel of the Knights of St John. Also available during our call at Rhodes is an optional trip to the Acropolis at Lindos. From the Turkish port of Kusadasi, a short trip by road takes you to the magnificent ruins of Ephesus and its “terraced houses of the rich.” Also included is a full day excursion to the remarkable ancient city of Aphrodisias. SACRED GREEK ISLANDS The next port of call is Delos, the paramount religious sanctuary of the ancient Greek world. The tour explores the island’s temples and, of course, the famous lion statues. Nearby Mykonos, with its lively cafes and shops, is the perfect contrast. On arriving in Santorini you take the short drive to Akrotiri. This ancient Minoan outpost is a truly remarkable site and the excavations include the remains of a sophisticated civilisation dating back to the 16th century BC. CLASSICAL ATHENS Your 2-night hotel stay in Athens includes a full morning's guided tour of the city's ancient citadel, the Acropolis. Built during the "Golden Age" of Athens between 447-438BC, the Acropolis represents the magnificent achievements of Athenian culture. You will also visit the wonderful Acropolis Museum and have plenty of free time to explore the city's other remarkable sites such as the ancient Agora and the National Archaeological Museum.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS These Booking Terms and Conditions, together with our privacy policy and any other written information we brought to your attention before we confirmed your booking, form the basis of your contract with Voyages to Antiquity (UK) Limited (ATOL 10093) and (ABTA Y2206) (“we” or “us”). Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. In these Booking Conditions references to "you" and "your" include the first named person on the booking and all persons on whose behalf a booking is made or any other person to whom a booking is added or transferred. Holidays not involving air travel are financially protected by Voyages to Antiquity (UK) Limited’s bond with ABTA, membership Number Y2206. Holidays involving air travel are financially protected by Voyages to Antiquity (UK) Limited’s bond with the Civil Aviation Authority ATOL 10093. Please also refer to clause 18 entitled ‘Financial Protection’. 1. BOOKING AND PAYING FOR YOUR ARRANGEMENTS A booking is made with us when we have received your signed booking form and the required deposit payment. The deposit will be 10% of the total holiday cost and will be non-transferable and nonrefundable. If your booking is made within 90 days of departure full payment is due at the time of booking. We reserve the right to return your deposit and decline to issue a confirmation at our absolute discretion. A binding contract will come into existence between you and us as soon as we have issued you with a booking confirmation that will confirm the details of your booking and will be sent to you. If your arrangements include a flight, we will issue you with an ATOL Certificate and a confirmation. Upon receipt, if you believe that any details on the ATOL Certificate, confirmation or any other document are wrong you must advise us immediately as changes cannot be made at a later date and it may harm your rights if we are not notified of any inaccuracies in any document within ten days of our sending it out (five days for tickets). The balance of the cost of your arrangements (including any applicable surcharge) is due not less than 90 days prior to scheduled departure. If we do not receive this balance in full and on time, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you in which case the cancellation charges set out in clause 8 below will become payable. There is no charge for payment of deposit by credit card but a charge of 1.7% for Visa and Mastercard and 2.5% for American Express cards will be made for balance payments. No charges are made for payments using debit cards. 2. ACCURACY We endeavour to ensure that all the information and prices both on our website and in our brochures are accurate; however occasionally changes and errors occur and we reserve the right to correct prices and other details in such circumstances. You must check the current price and all other details relating to the arrangements that you wish to book before your booking is confirmed. 3. INSURANCE We do not sell insurance as there are many good deals available in the market, plus many people now have annual policies. However, it is a condition of the contract with us that every member of the booking has travel insurance in force for the entire duration of the holiday, covering at least the cancellation of the booking and providing medical cover for illness or injury, repatriation while overseas and loss of baggage.

arrangements and to rates, dues, taxes or fees chargeable for services such as landing taxes or embarkation or disembarkation fees at ports and airports any or all of which may result in a variation of your voyage/travel arrangements price. We will absorb and you will not be charged for any increase equivalent to 2% of the price of your travel arrangements, which excludes insurance premiums and any amendment charges and/or supplementary services or travel arrangements. You will be charged for the amount over and above that. If this means that you have to pay an increase of more than 10% of the price of your confirmed travel arrangements (excluding any insurance premiums, amendment charges and/or additional services or travel arrangements), you will have the option of accepting or cancelling and receiving a full refund of all monies paid or changing to another voyage. There will be no change made to the price of your confirmed voyage/ travel arrangement within 30 days of your departure nor will refunds be paid during this period. Should the price of your holiday go down due to the changes mentioned above, by more than 2% of your confirmed holiday cost, then any refund due will be paid to you. 5. FITNESS TO TRAVEL ON THE CRUISE SHIP, PREGNANCY, DISABILITY OR REDUCED MOBILITY, MEDICAL/MOBILITY EQUIPMENT Our priority is the comfort and safety of our passengers. You are asked at the time of booking to provide as much information as possible regarding any assistance that may be required in the port and on board the vessel. We are entitled to administer a health questionnaire prior to boarding. You must advise prior to boarding the vessel if you are suffering any symptoms. All passengers must follow the vessels instructions and procedures relating to all matters including health, safety, hygiene and security. In order to ensure that the carrier is able to carry passengers safely and in accordance with applicable safety requirements established by international, EU or national law or in order to meet safety requirements established by competent authorities including flag state every passenger warrants that he/she is fit to travel by sea and that his/her conduct or condition will not impair the safety of the cruise ship or inconvenience the other passengers. We and the carrier reserve the right to require any passenger to produce medical evidence of fitness to travel in order to assess whether that passenger can be carried safely in accordance with applicable international, EU or national law. If it appears to us or the carrier, the Master or the cruise ship's doctor that a passenger is for any reason unfit to travel, likely to endanger safety, or likely to be refused permission to land at any port, or likely to render the carrier liable for passenger maintenance, support or repatriation, then the carrier or the Master shall have the right to take any of the following courses: (i) Refuse to embark the passenger at any port; (ii) Disembark the passenger at any port; (iii) Transfer the passenger to another berth or cabin; (iv) If the Cruise Ship doctor considers it advisable, to place or confine him/her in the Cruise Ship's Hospital or to transfer the passenger to a health facility at any port, at the passenger's expense (v) to administer first aid and administer any drug, medicine or other substance or to admit and/or confine the passenger to a hospital or other similar institution at any port provided that the ship’s doctor and/or Master considers that any such steps are necessary.

Details of your policy must be entered in your booking form in the space provided in order for a booking to be confirmed.

Where a passenger is refused embarkation as a result of safety and/ or fitness to travel, neither we nor the carrier shall be liable for any loss or expense occasioned to the passenger thereby, nor shall the passenger be entitled to any compensation from the carrier.

4. PRICING The price of your voyage, air package holiday arrangements, or other travel arrangements was calculated using exchange rates in effect 1 October, 2014. We reserve the right to amend the price of unsold holidays at any time and correct errors in the prices of confirmed holidays.

‘Disabled Person’ or ‘Person with Reduced Mobility’ includes any person whose mobility when using transport is reduced as a result of any physical disability, intellectual or psychosocial disability or impairment, or any other cause of disability, and whose situation needs appropriate attention and adaption to his particular needs for the service made available to all passengers.

The price of your confirmed voyage, or travel arrangement is subject at all times to changes in transport costs such as fuel, and any other airline cost changes which are part of our contracts with airlines (and their agents), cruise ship operators and any other transport provider; and to changes in the currency exchange used to calculate your

Passengers who need assistance and/or have special requests or need special facilities or equipment with regard to accommodation, seating or services required or their need to bring medical equipment must notify us at the time of booking. If the passenger cannot be carried safely and in

accordance with applicable safety requirements then we and or the carrier can refuse to accept a passenger or embarkation of a Disabled Person or Person with Reduced Mobility on the grounds of safety. Where strictly necessary for the safety of the passenger we and or the carrier can require before it accepts the booking that a passenger is assisted by an accompanying person who is fit and able to provide the assistance required. Those passengers confined to wheelchairs must furnish their own standard size wheelchairs and must be accompanied by a travelling companion fit and able to assist them. Pregnant women are highly recommended to seek medical advice prior to travel at any stage of their pregnancy. Women who are up to 23 weeks pregnant at the end of the cruise are required to produce a medical certificate of fitness to travel. The carrier cannot for safety reasons carry pregnant passengers of 24 weeks or more by the end of the cruise. 6. CUTTING YOUR VOYAGE SHORT If you are forced to return home early, we cannot refund the cost of any services you have not used. If you cut short your voyage and return home early in circumstances where you have no reasonable cause for complaint about the standard of accommodation and services provided, we will not offer you any refund for that part of your holiday not completed, or be liable for any associated costs you may incur. Depending on the circumstances, your travel insurance may offer cover for curtailment and we suggest that any claim is made directly with them. 7. CHANGES BY YOU If you wish to change any part of your booking arrangements after our confirmation invoice has been issued, you must inform us as soon as possible. Whilst we will do our utmost to assist you, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet your requested change. Where we can meet a request, all changes will be subject to an administration fee of £50 per person, per change or £100 per person, per change if the request is made within 60 days of departure as well as any applicable rate changes or extra costs incurred by ourselves and any other charges imposed by the airline or any other of our suppliers. Where we are unable to assist you and you do not wish to proceed with the original booking we will treat this as a cancellation by you. A cancellation fee may be payable. Please also note that a change of departure date within 60 days prior to departure will be treated as a cancellation by you. 8. IF YOU CANCEL You, or any member of your party, may cancel your travel arrangements at any time. If you or any other member of your party decides to cancel your confirmed booking, the first named person on the booking must notify us in writing. Your notice of cancellation will only take effect when it is received by us. Since we incur costs in cancelling your arrangements, you will have to pay the applicable cancellation charges up to the maximum shown below (The cancellation charge detailed is calculated on the basis of the total cost payable by the person(s) cancelling excluding insurance premiums and amendment charges which are not refundable in the event of the person(s) to whom they apply cancelling):Period before departure cancellation notice received by us

No refunds will be made for tickets or services booked but not used, or for insurance premiums or alteration charges. Note: Certain arrangements may not be amended after they have been confirmed and any alteration or cancellation could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangements in addition to the charge above. 9. CHANGES AND CANCELLATION BY US 9.1 It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements, but we do plan the arrangements many months in

advance. Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes will be minor and we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date. We also reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements. For example, if the minimum number of participants required for a particular travel arrangement is not reached, we may have to cancel it. However, we will not cancel your travel arrangements less than 90 days before your departure date, except for reasons of force majeure or failure by you to pay the final balance. 9.2 Most alterations will be minor and while we will do our best to notify you of any changes as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure, we will have no other liability to you. Examples of “minor changes” include the following when made before departure: Where a flight has been booked, any change in the advertised identity of the carrier(s), flight timings, and/or aircraft type; a change of outward departure time or overall length of your holiday of twelve hours or less; a change of accommodation to another of the same standard or classification. 9.3 Occasionally we may have to make a major change to your confirmed arrangements. ”Examples of “major changes” include the following, when made before departure: A change of accommodation to that of a lower standard or classification for the whole or a significant part of your time away; a change to your initial embarkation or disembarkation port to a different geographical area; a change of outward departure time or overall length of your arrangements of twelve or more hours; where a flight has been booked, a change of UK departure airport, as long as that change is not from one London airport to another London airport. London airports are Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City; a significant change to your itinerary affecting the majority of the destination. 9.4 If we have to make a major change or cancel, we will tell you as soon as possible and if there is time to do so before departure, we will offer you the choice of: a) accepting the changed arrangements; b) having a refund of all monies paid; or c) accepting an offer of alternative travel arrangements of comparable standard from us, if available (we will refund any price difference if the alternative is of a lower value). You must notify us of your choice within 7 days of our offer. If you fail to do so we will assume that you have chosen to accept the change or alternative booking arrangements. Very rarely, we may be forced by "force majeure" (see clause 11) to change or terminate your arrangements after departure. If this situation does occur, we regret we will be unable to make any refunds (unless we obtain any from our suppliers), pay you compensation or meet any costs or expenses you incur as a result. 10. OUR RESPONSIBILITIES 10.1 We will accept responsibility for the arrangements we agree to provide or arrange for you as an “organiser” under the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 as set out below. Subject to these booking conditions, if we or our suppliers negligently perform or arrange the services which we are obliged to provide for you under our contract with you, as set out on your confirmation invoice, we will pay you reasonable compensation. The level of such compensation will be calculated taking into consideration all relevant factors such as but not limited to: following the complaints procedure as described in these conditions and the extent to which ours or our employees’ or suppliers’ negligence affected the overall enjoyment of your holiday. Please note that it is your responsibility to show that we or our supplier(s) have been negligent if you wish to make a claim against us. 10.2 We will not be responsible or pay you compensation for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense, cost or other claim of any description if it results from:(a) the act(s) and/or omission(s) of the person(s) affected; (b) the act(s) and/or omission(s) of a third party unconnected with the provision of the services contracted for and which were unforeseeable or unavoidable; or (c) unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond ours or our supplier(s) control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised; or (d) an event which either ourselves or suppliers could not, even with all due care, have foreseen or forestalled.

as amended in 1976 (“The Athens Convention) and where applicable from 1 January 2013 EU Regulation 392/2009 relating to the Liability of carriers of passengers by sea in the event of accidents (“EU Regulation 392/2009). For the purposes of the Athens Convention and EU Regulation 392/2009 we are the Contracting Carrier. The Athens Convention and EU Regulation 392/2009 limit the Carriers’ liability for death or personal injury or loss or damage to luggage and makes special provision for valuables. It is presumed that luggage has been delivered to you undamaged unless written notice is given to us and/or the performing Carrier. a) in the case of apparent damage, before or at the time of disembarkation or redelivery; or b) in the case of damage which is not apparent or of loss, within 15 days from the date of disembarkation or redelivery or from the time when such redelivery should have taken place. Damages for cabin luggage payable by the Carrier are limited up to the Athens Convention limit of 833 SDRs or 2250 SDRs if EU Regulation 392/2009 applies. Limits shall be reduced in proportion to any contributory negligence by the passenger and by the maximum deductible specified in Article 8 (4) of the Athens Convention or EU Regulation 392/2009. Copies of the Athens Convention or EU Regulation 392/2009 are available from us on request.

10.3 Where death and or personal injury and or loss of or damage to property occurs during carriage by air or by sea then liability and the extent of damages recoverable will be dealt with by International Conventions as set out in paragraphs 10.5 and 10.6 and not otherwise. 10.4 As set out in these booking conditions we limit the maximum amount we may have to pay you for any claims you may make against us which do not involve personal injury, illness or death. Except where loss of and/or damage to luggage or personal possessions is concerned if we are found liable to you on any basis the maximum amount we will have to pay you is twice the price (excluding insurance premiums and amendment charges) paid by or on behalf of the person(s) affected in total unless a lower limitation applies to your claim under clause 10.6 below. This maximum amount will only be payable where everything has gone wrong and you have not received any benefit at all from your holiday. 10.5 Where any claim or part of a claim (including those involving death or personal injury) concerns or is based on any travel arrangements (including the process of getting on and/or off the transport concerned) provided by any air, sea, rail or road carrier or any stay in a hotel, the maximum amount of compensation we will have to pay you will be limited. The most we will have to pay you for that claim or that part of a claim if we are found liable to you on any basis is the most the carrier or hotel keeper concerned would have to pay under the international convention or regulation which applies to the travel arrangements or hotel stay in question (for example, the Warsaw Convention as amended or un-amended and the Montreal Convention for international travel by air and/or for airlines with an operating licence granted by an EU country, the EC Regulation on Air Carrier Liability No 889/2002 for national and international travel by air, the Athens convention for international travel by sea). Please Note: Where a carrier or hotel would not be obliged to make any payment to you under the applicable International Convention or Regulation in respect of a claim or part of a claim, we similarly are not obliged to make a payment to you for that claim or part of the claim. When making any payment, we are entitled to deduct any money which you have received or are entitled to receive from the transport provider or hotelier for the complaint or claim in question. Copies of the applicable International Conventions and Regulations are available from us on request. We do not have any liability to you in any circumstances in which the carrier is liable to you by virtue of the Denied Boarding Regulation 2004 which applies solely to the operating carrier. Any liability we may have to you under our contract with you, arising out of the same facts, is limited to the remedies provided under the Regulation as if (for this purpose only) we were a carrier; any sums you receive from the carrier will be deducted from any amount due from ourselves. 10.6 Travel by sea is governed by the provisions of the Convention Relating to the Carriage of Passengers and their Luggage by Sea 1974

In so far as we may be liable to you in respect of claims arising out of carriage by sea we shall be entitled to all rights, defences, immunities and limitations available, respectively, to the actual carrier and under the relevant Conventions, and nothing in these Booking Conditions shall be deemed as a surrender thereof. To the extent that any provision in these Booking Conditions is made null and void by the Athens Convention or EU Regulation 392/2009 or any legislation compulsorily applicable or is otherwise unenforceable, it shall be void to that extent but not further. Our liability will not at any time exceed that of the carrier under its Conditions of Carriage and/or applicable or incorporated conventions or other legislation.

foreseen you would suffer or incur if we breached our contract with you; or (b) which relate to any business. 11. FORCE MAJEURE Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions we will not be liable or pay you compensation if our contractual obligations to you are affected by any event which we or the supplier(s) of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. These events can include, but are not limited to war, threat of war, civil strife terrorist activity and its consequences or the threat of such activity, riot, the act of any government or other national or local authority including port or river authorities, industrial dispute, lock closure, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, chemical or biological disaster and adverse weather, sea, ice and river conditions and all similar events outside our or the supplier(s) concerned control. Advice from the Foreign Office to avoid or leave a particular country may constitute Force Majeure. 12. PASSPORTS, VISAS, HEALTH FORMALITIES & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS It is your responsibility to check and fulfill the passport, visa, health and immigration requirements applicable to your itinerary. We can only provide general information about this. You must check requirements for your own specific circumstances with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates and your Doctor as applicable. Requirements do change and you must check the up to date position in good time before departure. You must notify us regarding next of kin details and any other important information we request before you travel. If you have made independent travel arrangements you accept responsibility for joining the ship in good time, regardless of any change to the sailing time or date, or to the itinerary. We are not able to refund monies paid to us, or any third party acting on our or your behalf, or make compensation or other payments where, for whatever reason, you fail to join the ship. Passengers going ashore are responsible for re-boarding the ship prior to departure from port.

Any liability in respect of death and personal injury and loss of and damage to luggage which we may incur to you whether under our contract with you, in accordance with these Booking Conditions or otherwise, shall always be subject to the limits of liability contained in the Athens Convention or EU Regulation 392/2009 for death/personal injury of 46,666 Special Drawing Rights (SDR) or 300,000 SDR under Athens Convention or 400,000 SDRs under EU Regulation 392/2009 except in the case of liability for war or terrorism 250,000 SDRs.

Most countries now require passports to be valid for at least 6 months after your return date. If your passport is in its final year, you should check with the Embassy of the country you are visiting. For further information contact the Passport Office on 0870 5210410 or visit www.passport.gov.uk

We are not liable for valuables, monies or other securities including jewellery and watches. If they have been deposited with the reception desk on the ship for safe keeping and a receipt issued then in those limited circumstances the Carriers liability will be as set out in the Athens Convention or EU Regulation 392/2009. The use of safes onboard a Vessel is not a deposit with the ship or with us under the Athens Convention or EU Regulation 392/2009 or otherwise. The limits are 1200 SDRs pursuant to Athens or 3,375 SDRs pursuant to EU Regulation 392/2009.

We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel, or incur any other loss because you have not complied with any passport, visa, immigration requirements or health formalities. You agree to reimburse us in relation to any fines or other losses which we incur as a result of your failure to comply with any passport, visa, immigration requirements or health formalities.

10.7 Where there is any loss of or damage to property including luggage which is not covered by any international convention and where liability is not limited by reference to any enactment, terms of conditions, then any legal liability that we may have for any such losses or damage will not exceed £500 per guest. 10.8 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary elsewhere in these Booking Conditions, we shall not in any circumstances be liable to you for any loss or anticipated loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of use, loss of contract or other opportunity nor for any other consequential or indirect loss or damage of a similar nature. 10.9 It is a condition of our acceptance of liability under this clause that you notify any claim to ourselves and our supplier(s) strictly in accordance with the complaints procedure set out in these conditions. 10.10 Where any payment is made, the person(s) receiving it (and their parent or guardian if under 18 years) must also assign to ourselves or our insurers any rights they may have to pursue any third party and must provide ourselves and our insurers with all assistance we may reasonably require. 10.11 Please note we cannot accept any liability for any damage, loss or expense or other sum(s) of any description: (a) which on the basis of the information given to us by you concerning your booking prior to our accepting it, we could not have

13. SPECIAL REQUESTS Any special requests must be advised to us at the time of booking e.g. diet, room location, a particular facility on board a voyage etc. You should then confirm your requests in writing. Whilst every effort will be made by us to try and arrange your reasonable special requests, we cannot guarantee that they will be fulfilled. The fact that a special request has been noted on your confirmation invoice or any other documentation or that it has been passed on to the supplier is not confirmation that the request will be met. Failure to meet any special request will not be a breach of contract on our part unless the request has been specifically confirmed. We do not accept bookings that are conditional upon any special request being met. 14. COMPLAINTS We make every effort to ensure that your holiday arrangements run smoothly but if you do have a problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant supplier (e.g. ship’s officer), or our local representative immediately who will endeavour to put things right. If the issue is not resolved locally it is essential you notify our head office in writing, quoting the booking reference number and all other relevant information, at the earliest opportunity and no later than 28 days after your return, to enable any complaint to be investigated. Please keep your letter concise and to the point. It will assist us to quickly identify your concerns and speed up our response to you. Failure to follow the procedures set out in this clause may affect our and the applicable supplier’s ability to investigate your complaint, and will affect your rights under this contract.

15. BEHAVIOUR If in our opinion or in the opinion of any other person in authority, your behaviour or that of any member of your party is causing or is likely to cause distress, danger or annoyance to any of our other guests or any third party or damage to property, or to cause a delay or diversion to transportation, we reserve the right to terminate your booking arrangements with us immediately. In the event of such termination our liability to you and/or your party will cease and you and/or your party will be required to leave your cruise or other service immediately. We will have no further obligations to you and/or your party. No refunds for lost services will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of termination. You and/or your party may also be required to pay for loss and/or damage caused by your actions and we will hold you and each member of your party jointly and individually liable for any damage or losses caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or losses must be paid directly to the applicable supplier prior to departure from the service in question. If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you. We cannot be held responsible for the actions or behaviour of other guests or individuals who have no connection with your booking arrangements or with us. 16. CONDITIONS OF SUPPLIERS Some of the services which make up your holiday are provided by independent suppliers. Those suppliers provide these services in accordance with their own terms and conditions which will form part of your contract with us. Some of these terms and conditions may limit or exclude the supplier's liability to you, usually in accordance with applicable International Conventions. Copies of the relevant parts of these terms and conditions are available on request from ourselves or the supplier concerned. 17. ABTA ARBITRATION We are a member of ABTA, membership number Y2206. We are obliged to maintain a high standard of service to you by ABTA’s Code of Conduct. We can also offer you an arbitration scheme for the resolution of disputes arising out of, or in connection with this contract. Further information on the Code and arbitration can be found at www.abta.com/consumer-services/travel_problems/arbitration The arbitration scheme is arranged by ABTA and administered independently. It provides for a simple and inexpensive method of arbitration on documents alone with restricted liability on you in respect of costs. Full details will be provided on request or can be obtained from the ABTA website. 18. FINANCIAL PROTECTION We are required to provide security for the monies that you pay for the arrangements booked from us and for your repatriation in the event of our insolvency. We provide this security for flight inclusive holidays by way of a bond held by the Civil Aviation Authority under ATOL number 10093. When you buy an ATOL protected holiday from us you will receive an ATOL certificate listing the services that are financially protected. We provide financial security for holidays not including flights by way of our membership of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA Number Y2206). 19. FLIGHTS In accordance with EU Regulations we are required to advise you of the carrier(s) (or, if the carrier(s) is not known, the likely carrier(s)) that will operate your flight(s) at the time of booking. Where we are only able to inform you of the likely carrier(s) at the time of booking, we shall inform you of the identity of the actual carrier(s) as soon as we become aware of this. 20.
