Maison de Bonneterie
I began my blog in November, 2009. I was studying graphic design, but felt the constant urge to do something more‌fashion. That is where afterDRK.com happened. With the intent of appealing to all fashion seekers, especially the ones that are born with a slight appreciation for simplicity - but always with some sort of edge) - I built a platform to share all things fashion. What fashion means to me is actually quite cliche, it is a way to show the world who I am. It is something that I occasionally use to experiment and perhaps even inspire people with. The best thing about fashion is that it is everchanging and there is always new things to see and to discover. When I started my blog, I never expected it to become what it is now, let alone become my full time job. It has so far brought me too many great opportunities and experiences - including becoming a regular at several international
Fashion Weeks - and of course this amazing collaboration with Maison de Bonneterie. When Maison de Bonneterie asked me to design a bracelet, my inspiration came from moving in together with my boyfriend. Our style is pretty much a simple mix of everything we bump into and I am slightly obsessed with all things industrial. When we hung up our old Czechoslovakian factory lights, I got an inspiration boost from the toolbox - so many items that could function as perfect jewelry pieces. Industrial yet refined. Dreams really do come true.
