About our Education Programs The goal of the Museum, of course, is to embrace the power of sports in order to change lives by providing exciting educational and informative experiences for every visitor. The Museum is especially concerned about keeping memories alive among the young people of today and tomorrow while inspiring excellence in everything they do in and out of the classroom. Our key focus includes: Math, Science, Health, or Character Development programming with correlations to the Virginia SOLs (K - 12th grade) and Virginia Building Blocks for Preschool. In every program we teach, we have the children get up and move around, we are proud to be a part of Let’s Move! – embracing a healthy active lifestyle to help prevent childhood obesity.
